General Appearance-
Luna is a medium-sized cow who is three years old.
Most of her body is heavily roaned, and this mixture
of black and white hairs give her coat an almost
blue appearance. Her head and other points, such
as her legs and tail, reveal her base coat, which
is black. In stark contrast, her hindquarters are
almost white, with only a few darker hairs
showing through. Luna takes meticulous care of
her appearance, and her coat is rarely very muddy.
She wears a silver bell which hangs from a light
blue material. Luna is delighted that with this
bell's colour as it compliments her coat and brings
out her deep blue eyes.

Luna has a strange fascination with modern technology. She has tried to get a hold of a mobile phone
several times, but her attempts have been unsuccessful so far. For a cow, she's surprisingly sharp when
it comes to technology. If a person takes out a camera or even opens a camera setting on their device,
Luna will know, and will be making sure that she looks her best for a picture.
Although Luna strives to look her best, she isn't particularly vain. She enjoys being in the presence of
other cows, although she isn't particularly interested in vying for a place in the social hierarchy. On
account of her peacefulness, nearly all of the cows at the farm like Luna, although some may try to take
advantage of her desire for peace. Luna is often the one to break up conflicts and suggest compromises.
Luna can occasionally come across as bossy, especially when she's trying to calm a tense situation. She
is sometimes viewed as a shallow creature due to the care that she takes of her appearance. At times,
Luna can tune out and become lost her thoughts, and is rather grumpy if someone deliberately disturbs
her. She has a wild imagination and a good memory.
Luna loves staying out in the field and watching the stars. She's quite an experienced stargazer, for a
cow. Luna doesn't usually hang about with the other cows by night, preferring to look at the stars in a
quiet corner of the field.
When Luna first came to the farm, she was a bit nervous, but it didn't take her long to settle in and start
photobombing every picture she could possibly get into.

The Taurus constellation
The name and patterns of different
constellations vary greatly between cattle
and humans, but the Taurus constellation
appears similar enough to both species.
Like many cattle, Luna sees the Taurus
constellation as a mighty bull, guardian
of all living cattle. When Luna needs
strength in life, she looks to this
constellation.
Winter
Her favourite season- the sky can be
absolutely phenomenal if the weather is
good, and she loves the festivities around
Christmas and New Year's Eve. Since she
lives in a mild climate, she doesn't have
to be cooped up in a stall for winter.
Somewhat disappointingly for Luna, but
mercifully for many cows, the country
never gets much snow.
Shows
Luna is a bit of an attention seeker, and
loves performing in shows. She even
enjoys the preparation for shows, and
particularly likes being cleaned and made
to look her best.

Rainy and cloudy weather
While Luna enjoys water and can sometimes
be seen splashing around in puddles, she
dislikes the clouds which cover the sky by
night.
Human Children
Luna is not a huge fan of human children.
She considers most of them to be rough and
noisy. Thus far, nobody has been able to
disprove this to Luna, mainly because the
roan cow flees to the other corner of the
field whenever children are around. Even
curiosity about the technology that some
children seem to have their hands on
nowadays is not enough to persuade Luna
to come close and see that they aren't all
bad.
Being lonely
Luna can become lonely very easily, and
prefers to be with other cattle as much as
possible. However, she is equally happy to
be with trusted friends of other species.
Luna can become destructive or noisy
when she's on her own for too long. When
travelling, another cow usually
accompanies her.

Favourite Flower- It's a generic question to ask a cow, but Luna does have many flowers that she
is particularly fond of. Top of her list would be wild pansy (Viola tricolor), for its beautiful
colours and prettily shaped petals. She associates these flowers with her youth, as they grew in
the fields of the farm that she grew up in. She also likes cornflowers (Centaurea cyanus), which
are a beautiful shade of blue, and all species of clover.
Favourite treat-
Favourite colour- Being a cow, Luna has dichromatic vision, but that doesn't stop her from
enjoying the colours that she can see. Her favourite colour is probably blue, especially dark blue.
Favourite smell- Luna really likes the smell of coffee, but has never tasted it.
Favourite quote- "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars"- Oscar Wilde.
Favourite time- The middle of the night, when almost everyone is asleep, but the stars are at
their most wakeful.
Favourite kind of music- Luna likes listening to love songs and classical music. Her musical
tastes frequently clash with those of her friend Duilleog.

Stargazer
A poem by apart
Leave me in the grass now,
I promise I'll behave.
You don't need to think of me-
I know my light will fade.
The sun has sunk below the hills,
I see that it is night.
A cloud passes o'er the moon-
The world lacks depth and light.
Yet though my world, it falls asleep,
Its shadow has awoken.
Two fox-eyes shine on through the murk,
The owls and bats have spoken.
I raise my head in silence
Towards a sliver of a moon.
It emits a small and bleary light,
A beauty, not a gloom.
For out there in the darkness,
In the sky there shine the stars.
They look down on our shadow-world,
And tell us who we are.

☾ Luna is a lot more superstious than she is
willing to admit.
☾ Luna has a singing voice that's tuneful
and quiet. She rarely sings in public, even
though her best friend encourages her.
