Explanation;
To Denise,
lilacs and blue skies represent her
favorite time of year... spring!
Denise loves seeing (and smelling)
all the fragrant flowers once they
bloom! It's not too hot but not too
chilly, so she can relax outside
without melting or freezing.
It's a magical time.

She loves to go sledding on a huge hill in her cousins backyard. One time, she was going so fast she slid into the neighbors yard and almost hit their car.

Most Kalon's would expect her favorite
time of year season to be summer,
with her name being pronounced sunny,
which is what the summer is know for,
and for those who think so,
they're wrong.
Sonnie loves the fall,
climbing trees to see the colors of
the leaves from a different perspective,
the wind blowing in her face,
all of it she loves.
When they ask why,
she replies,
"The summer's wayyy too warm,
it's like an oven,
spring's too rainy,
I can't even go outside without my mane getting wet,
and winter's too cold,
and I realllllyyyyy hate the cold."
They often just shrug and walk off afterward,
learning something new about her.

Sonnie might not be what you expect her to be,
but she never wanted to,
she wants to be unique,
to be special,
to be herself.
