Favorite day of the week & why;; Friday, because Friday is loot day!
As a pirate, Elijah looks forward to the most thrilling day of the week. Every Friday the whole crew lands an attack on a small village and take what they please. A little harsh? Yes, but that's the life he chose and he can't imagine any other. Yo ho, yo ho! I pirate's life for me! Gold, silver, jewels, everything his heart desires. Diamonds more dazzling than the stars, gold more pure than a ray of sun. If only he could swim through his treasure the same way the ship does through water!
Sure, the other days of the week are nice. Sailing, drinking ale, and laughing with the rest of the crew. But from Saturday to Thursday, nothing is quite as exciting as Friday! The perfect day, when people are so distracted by the end of the week and are so easily robbed. Right before the weekend, when all the shopkeepers open their doors to customers, when Elijah and the other pirates can barge in and buy everything from the smallest trinket to the building itself! What pirate couldn't love such a holiday like Friday? And how lucky that it happens every week!

Ugh! Monday! Monday is when the shops close early and almost all the treasure is spent after the nice weekend. Monday is when the skies become cloudy, the faces start to frown, and the feet feel so heavy it's hard to walk to work. No one wants to wake up to an alarm! It's miserable compared to sleeping in on the weekend. The fun on the ship begins to die down, and the crew have to start managing the ship again. Mopping the decks, wrenching barnacles off the bow. Elijah's arms are always numb with exhaustion by the end of it. This is no duty of a kalon like Elijah! No, he deserves better. Let the cabin boy scrub the deck clean, let the swabbie take care of the barnacles. Elijah will be up in the crows nest, feeling the wind ruffle his fur and trying his best to forget that today, ah today... is Monday.

Why Saturday ended up being Spencer's Favorite day of the week. Well, it's being he get more done on this day and free from his editor that visits him on weekdays. He's makes as many mini plans on this day as he can. Like a walk around the lake that's 2 miles from his home, fix a few of his clocks in his basement that been handed down and became is side hobby. Even on this day he meets up with few friends he met from college that actually stayed friends with him. Oh! And every other Saturday he buys herbs from a spice shop he's friend owns to make tea. Nothing gets him going in the morning better than a hot cup of fresh tea after a morning shower and daily Pilates. All these activities are his stress relief from work, and though he does change it up every so often. Making Saturday one of the days he looks forward too each week.

Fᴀᴠᴏʀɪᴛᴇ Wᴇᴇᴋᴅᴀʏ & Wʜʏ ⟩⟩ Thursday. His sense of time is a little askew, because he works nights as a bartender, and he often thinks Friday comes earlier than it does. He usually spends most of Thursday accidentally thinking it's Friday, and this gives him a little boost. Like a longer weekend.
He can sometimes spend the entirety of Thursday thinking it's a different day, until the evening, when his phone reminds him of his taekwondo classes, his favorite hobby. This is another reason he loves Thursdays!
