Despair and Clarity

Despair is the male, right side of this Kalon.
he has longer horns and a single split tongue.
He's blind but has a large mouth. He's very
good at making you feel bad, and he's
concerned for the saftey of himself and
Clarity. He pushes and scares others off in
hopes they'll leave them alone. He thinks that
others will poison Clarity's mind. Obviously,
he is very protective of Clarity, and often finds
himself fighting others who even dare speak
to her. A big softy at heart, he just doesn't like to
show his submissive, nice side often.
Clarity is the kind, gentle left side of this Kalon.
She has smaller horns and two separate tongues.
She is calm, cool, and collective. She likes to
listen to you and resolve conflicts. She will open
her mouth sometimes, but do not be alarmed
by the ghosts that fly out. They are harmless and
will ascend into the sky. If Clarity is mad, however,
these ghosts will become demons and will chase
you. She likes to be around others, but Despair
doesn't approve of most of her friends.
what makes them a ghost
Despair and Clarity aren't a ghost. They are like the paths to heaven and hell. Clarity will guide the good souls to their next lives while Despair will take the bad souls to the purgatory where they can be truly judged. The two-headed kalon can become invisible if they do not wish to be seen, usually watch mortals, and keep on top of the time.
While one takes control of the body, the other can rest. This results in one head being seen while the other is transparent. While one is in full control, the other will sleep or give advice. During ones control over the body, the respect for the other is leveled and one won't betray another. Clarity is often the one taking over more, but Despair will take over if they are in danger. He's the one who thinks better in a rush, while Clarity is the long-run thinker.
Shapeshifting is something they cannot do, but illusions are their specialty. They can project images to either guide or scare you. These images could be simply a deer, or a bear, but the more frightening images could be of monsters, or nightmares. They like to use this power sometimes for fun.
They occasionally will have whisps following them, or smaller ghosts. This is because they can communicate with them. The ghosts and whisps share stories and help in battle. Despair and Clarity often fight other demons or larger enemies, so help is considered a blessing.
Despair cannot see and Clarity can not talk, though both can lend each other their sight and voice. Using each other's mind, they can switch heads. Somtimes using this ability to prank their friends, or to confuse their enemies.
They have plenty of flaws and weaknesses. To avoid making them all powerful, they can be harmed and taken down like mortals, by mortals. They feel pain and can also die, though it's unlikely. They can be severely damaged and they do not have healing powers or anything of that nature. They simply put up with it and the whisps patch them up. It will take up to a month to heal major wounds, but longer to fight again. Weaknesses do include words, hatred, salt water, and sugar. They soley eat meat and fake sugared items.
Strengths include physical, mental, and pyrotechnics. They do not control fire, but they cannot be damaged by fire. They can also speak with the dead. They cannot control the dead, only ask of their assistance.
Allies
Jilo, Owned by Imp.
Jilo is one of Clarity's good friends. Despair sees her of a friend as well, making her one of the closest kalons to them. One day, Clarity was helping Jilo find her purpose and they quickly bonded. Despair didn't like her at first, but she had a charm and a nice charisma that reminded him of Clarity, so he let her in the circle of friendship.
Argume, owned by Phandom Trash
Argume is a friend of Clarity but a rival of Despair. Clarity pays more attention to friends like him than her own "brother". He often fights with him behind Clarity's back.
The Seeker, owned by Takura.
A close friend to Despair but not very close to Clarity. Something in the past caused them to drift apart from each other. Despair and The Seeker still hang out and discuss topics with each other, usually leaving Clarity out of their little talks.
