What do they think about fish?: Marino is a fisherman living on the coast of Italy, making a minimal living on selling the fish he catches while out at sea to the town market. While fish serve more of an importance to Marino, the amount of the slippery, scaly animals he catches being the main factor that decides how much he'll be paid in a single day, he does enjoy looking at them. Coming in a wide variety and range of vivid colours, sizes, and shapes, it isn't any wonder that Marino is attracted to viewing the startling creatures he comes across daily as a form of entertainment. Though other than this, Marino doesn't have much of an opinion on them, preferring not to as their one purpose for him is to fill both his stomach and wallet.

For Set, fish have been a constant in his life. He spent most of his life with his elderly uncle, living close to the sea Set would spend his days reading or sitting on the docks, watching fish being hauled in by fishing nets or darting in the murky water, escaping fishing lures or falling prey to them. Watching fish like that made Set realize what fish really were, creatures meant to be in the ocean and the ocean alone, not in tanks or on china dinner plates. At a young age, Set began to call himself Captain Kidd. He made it his duty to free fish, often sneaking into homes and snatching the fish tanks he could carry, releasing the fish into the ocean. At the time Set didn't realize that goldfish didn't do very in well in the open ocean.
As time wore on, Set became more and more proactive about fish, sometimes even slicing nets and freeing the fish inside. He was caught more than once, and even has a scar to show for it, but that didn't stop him. His uncle would often scold him for his roguish ways, since the fishing business was what supported their small family, but Set was set on his path. Now Set runs a rehabilitation and habitat preservation center for fish, but you can still find him stealing fish tanks from time to time.
