Why so sleepy? Celeste LOVES stuffed animals! He's collected them ever since he was a young boy. But he didn't stop there. Through adulthood, his stash has only grown! But why does that make him so sleepy? Because each one has to be personalty tucked into bed and wished a good night's sleep! He'll sometimes groom their fur with a good lick, and they all have to have a comfy spot to rest. Celeste loves reading them bedtime stories too. But this takes up lots of time, considering how many plush toys he has. It may seem silly, but it's been a tradition since childhood. He grew up to believe if he didn't take good care of his toys, bad luck would come his way.

And Toy Story didn't help.

Benjen stared up at his tent, listening to the ticking of his alarm clock and shuffling a bit on his rather uncomfortable straw mattress. He grumbled something to himself as he tried to fluff up the equally uncomfortable straw and feather pillow.

'What a first day,' he thought, very bitterly, as he went over the details of his day over and over.

Ben has just started working at a Renaissance Faire, and his first day was very rough.

He's being employed as a knight in the king's personal guard, and it requires quite a bit more effort than he thought it would. He's basically a glorified squire for the king whenever he jousts or duels, and on his first day he also had to compete in both jousting and duels himself (in place of the king and for the honor of the queen, of course). To make matters worse, Benjen has to sleep at the faire in a tent with very uncomfortable bedding. He's really not looking forward to this job at all, and between you and me it probably won't last long at all.

Why so sleepy?: Ajax is so sleepy because he has been trying to set a world record of going the longest anyone has gone without sleeping. To accomplish this, Ajax occupies himself with fun activities such as hanging out with friends, who help him stay awake, painting because it makes him more focused, playing fun and exciting games like Legend of Zelda or Pokemon Go, all while drinking lots and lots of black coffee. He has tried a few times before to set the record, and although he has gotten close, in the end he never made it. This time is different, however. Ajax is determined to set the world record and has been since he was a wee kit and would like to add it to his list of accomplishments.

Why so sleepy?
Calliope was up all last night on her laptop, talking to her best friend on a video call.
Annalise very recently moved halfway across the world, and the differing time zones
have made it difficult for the two to stay in touch. However, when Ann sent a message
about having a hard time getting accustomed to her new job and having a particularly
sad day, Calliope knew that she had to be there for her friend. So, she ignored the
glaring red glow of her alarm clock, reminding her of her classes scheduled for early
the next morning, and gave Annalise a call. Their talk was sad at first, and a few tears
were shed by the both of them, but by the time the sun started to rise outside Calliope's
window, the two were giggling and carrying on just like they used to, when they lived a
few minutes away from one another and not a few hours. They've agreed to call one
another more often, and are planning to watch a movie together next weekend. It will
take some effort, and some sacrificed beauty sleep, but the pair are determined not to
let the distance break the bonds they've formed.

Why so sleepy?

Ciar has a bad habit of simple forgetting to sleep, due to his strange schedule. He is a late-night radio host, meaning that he awake at ungodly hours. His time slot is the 1-5 AM shift, meaning that he is there, DJ-ing music, sharing stories and factoids, and otherwise being awake during some of the worst times of the night. One would think that he would hate this job- after all, he's in the studio all alone in the middle of the night, talking to the poor drivers or others that happen to be awake and listening to his show, though chances are there are only a few listeners at any given time. However, Ciar actually loves his job. Despite the fact that he's not well-known, he believes he's helping others, as he's giving them something interesting to listen to when they are, unfortunately, awake at this hour.
However, the fact that Ciar is always tired is his fault alone. If he were to adhere to a nocturnal schedule and sleep during the daylight hours, he'd certainly have enough energy to make it through his day. But he is not that responsible. Being rather sociable, Ciar wants to be out and about during the daylight hours, when his friends and the world are also awake. Parties, movies, anything really- he wants to be there. Some days he'll go to the mall just to hear the din of kalons talking and going about their days, or to people-watch. He often forgets to fall asleep because he's too busy, or simple doesn't want to be asleep during the exciting daylight hours.
Though Ciar will often set alarms reminding him to sleep, he just as often turns them off. All-nighters -or, in his case, all-dayers- are not uncommon for him. Sometime he'll spend an entire week getting less than four hours of sleep a day, only to crash on Sunday and into Monday, as he has Monday off. Other times he's half-asleep at the microphone, or will fall asleep wherever he happens to be, whether it be on the couch or on a bench outside a store. His sleeplessness is a habit Ciar is trying to break, but he has yet to be all that successful at it. One day, maybe, he'll figure out a better schedule- either that, or, as he hopes, he'll be switched to a daytime shift, and be able to function like everyone else. For now, though, Ciar is content with his strange sleeping habits.

Why so sleepy?
Edvard recently went camping, and when he goes camping he doesn't sleep because he is scared of all the loud noises the outside world makes- like twigs crunching, branches and leaves rustling, animals making noises, etc. He is scared of the smallest sound when it comes to being outside, all he does is just shiver and shake all night long. Every month he is forced to go camping with his friends, and he can't possibly let them down by saying no, or that he is scared of camping ( though the already know he is scared ) he just wants to keep his friends happy, while they try to help him over come his fear of the night outdoors.
It's quite strange he is scared of the outdoor sounds- considering his house is so creaky and squeaky. Most of his friends are scared of his house, but they think he is so used to it that he sleeps perfectly fine. They think that if they just took him out for the smallest camping trip at least once a month he will get used to it, but that hasn't seemed to happen after about six years of trying. It may be his tragic backstory of a sibling having passed in the wilderness because of wild animals, and he is scared. But no one is quite sure why he has such a great fear of the wilderness- that he can't sleep. It's kind of funny to watch him shake in the middle of the night- some of his friends even think it's quite cute but it makes some of them worried, after 12 months every year for 6 years- he is still afraid of the wild night.
His worst fear of camping is the crows cawing atnight, it makes him wonder, and it doesn't help him get to sleep whenhe wonders about things, because then his mind is so busy, it doesn't slow down to sleep. Sleep is the best thing Edvard can do- he can usually sleep for HOURS when at home, but when he is outside he gets no sleep at all. It's strange because sleeping is a talent and a hobby, for Edvard.

Why so sleepy?
Skylar is very sleepy since they spent the past 2 nights
watching Marble Hornets and reading creepypastas. She's
had no sleep whatsoever since she wants to finish the full
MH series all in one go, but once she finished it she wanted to
read a ton of creepypastas on it. When she actually attempted to
go to sleep all she could think about was the creepypastas she's
read, and the operator from marble hornets. She just could not sleep,
so of course she decides to do the best thing - re watch the entire
marble hornets season again. Eventually, Skylar finished it.. at 9am.
She'd been awake for the third night. She tried to go to
sleep during the day, but just kept having nightmares. She tried to
take her mind off it by reading some old comic books, but the next
night she tried to sleep.. her mind was telling her to finish these comics.

Why so sleepy?: Ashen takes care of orphaned kittens and often they cry late at night. Due to this, Ash doesn't sleep as much as she should. Even as the kittens age as the months pass, the sleep deprivation rises. As their hunger is subdued by the dry food offerings she leaves them, their playful attitudes take over and they have to PLAY. Play with everything and anything. If Ashen so much as twitches in bed, at least two kittens are on her like a hawk, digging their little talons into her. Lucky for her, they do sleep long hours after play. However, unluckily, they choose her as their sleeping spot, confining her to bed when she has stuff to do that day.
