Memory Lapse-
Kwiat is able to lock the memories of a lion away, deep within their dreams. They can be retrieved, however, it will effect the lion with a bit of a shock. This ability can only be used if the lion has ingested her saliva.
Bloom-
Kwiat can see small portions of the past and future, as if they were in a fast pace and slightly blurry. She is only able to use this ability if she is in a VERY deep sleep, which she tends to avoid being in.
Drip-
The saliva dripping from Kwiat's mouth can be used in large doses as an anesthetic, putting the lion that inhales or swallows it into a deep slumber. This takes quite the toll on the dream Lioness, and most often results in her being unable to move for a day or two.
Daze-
In small doses this lioness's spit can daze a lion. For example, if she were to fight and this would come in contact with the eyes or skin, it would daze and confuse the lion.
Hunllef-
Kwiat can see, and manifest, the deepest fears of another lion. She uses this when threatened, making prolonged eye contact before suddenly breaking it to close her own pools of endless blue. That's when the shadows appear, first at the corners of her opponents vision then rapidly forming into the shapes they fear most.
Mold-
Kiwat can mold her own and other's dreams. She must be asleep to do this, and the lion she wishes to mold the dreams of must be sleeping within two feet of her.
Sleep Paralysis-
Kiwat, while others are sleeping, must touch her head to another lion's to use this ability. This causes the other lion to wake, but it cannot move or speak, only watch as their dreams, and most often worst nightmares, are brought into their reality to dance about. This is never real, and Kiwat only does this as a joke.
P E R S O N A L I T Y
Gentle, kind: mild in temperament or behavior; kind or tender.
This lioness does not walk this earth to harm or be mean, she is here to provide the shoulder others need for support. She never wants to fight, or use her nightmare ability. She handles things with the utmost care, refraining from using too much force or a loud voice.
Loving: feeling or showing love or great care.
Kwiat cares greatly for everyone and everything, even those that hurt or tease her. She hates to see others feel unwanted or unloved, it burns her to her very core. In these situations, despite her shyness, she will move to this lion and sit with them to talk. She's the shoulder on can go to cry on and the one who you can go to when you need her.
Observant: quick to notice things
Kwiat has a keen eye for others and her surroundings. She almost never misses a detail, a twitch of the side or tighten of the jaw. With her keen eyes Kwait can see the anger form in smeone's eyes, the sorrow they try and hide, and the pain they carry like weight over their shoulders despite their attempts to hide it. She never lets on that she knows how they feel unless they wish to talk about it.
Subdued: quiet and rather reflective or depressed.
This lioness can often be found in a reflective silence, contemplating current events or simply trying to dig her past back up. She enjoys the silence, finds a beauty in it that others often don't. Even at Haji's side she enjoys being able to sit and reflect on things or simpy watch the chaning sky.
Meek: quiet, gentle, and easily imposed on; submissive.
Kwiat is easily pushed to do things that lead her out of her comfort zone. All another lion has to do is tell her firmly or say please, and she will do it. She does this to make others happy despite herself, she can't bare to see anger or sorrow because she didn't do something, it hurts her heart in ways it shouldn't.
Embarrassed: cause to feel awkward, self-conscious, or ashamed
Kwiat is constantly embarrassed of her drool, she never ceases to stop trying to hide it or sweep her tail through through images that form as the droplets hit the floor. She despises her drool for showing what she deeply desires, her wildest, deepest, most private feelings and dreams. She often holds an embarrassed expression, ears slightly back and unseen heat radiating from every hair on her body.
Confident at first glance:
Kwiat appears confident on the surface, despite her ears being held slightly back most times. At first glance she appears ready and willing to face the world with her best or worst foot forward, nothing to stop her and nothing to stand in her way. However this is not true, the lioness puts on a fake aura of confidence so lions who first meet her, briefly, think she doesn't care about her drool or what others think. She really does care, does let it get to her. Every harsh word cuts her like a blade, eats away at what little confidence she does have.
Passionate: showing or caused by strong feelings or a strong belief.
Kwiat is one to find something that makes her feel strongly and latch on to it. She never backs away from something she believes in and will fight for it if she needs to. Her alliance with the pride would be one of the beliefs she has set in stone. Nothing the alpha does could make her leave, she thinks it's the right side of this bloody war.
Fair: in accordance with the rules or standards; legitimate.
This lioness is one of the few who, when dealing with arguments, will listen to both sides of a story and attempt to solve the problem appropriately. She never punishes one without punishing the other if they deserve it. If one is in the wrong without the other being so, Kwiat will do what needs to be done no matter how gentle she is.
Intelligent: having or showing intelligence, especially of a high level.
Kwiat is an extremely intelligent lioness despite her memories being locked away behind a thick mist. She gives off the wise old owl vibe, and always seems to know what you're talking about. She is confused herself how she knows all her information, but she does. She suspects it has something to do with her abilities, but nobody truly knows.
F E A R - L O S S
"I can't loose everything I've worked so hard for."
This lioness fears loss, being unable to handle it. Unfortunately, her fear now needs to be faced. She has lost everything, from me memories to family. Kwiat hates that empty feeling she has when she comes to realize the extent of loss, how it ripples and burns like a great forest fire she just has to run from. Loss scares this lioness to the point that healers need to isolate her, calm her and allow her to fade into a dream. She needs to run from that suffocating feeling, that weight crushing her lungs and fogging her mind, but she can't, it's all around her. Lions die, the fire spreads along the ripples and emotions flair. Kwiat can't run from this fast enough.
A W A K E N I N G
It was cold, oh so very cold in the endless void she was trapped in. Nothing but blackness and a rolling white mist. A sudden shock made her muscles twitch, this making them stiffen after being immobile for so long. She slowly opened her endless blue eyes, figures standing around her but shadows that slowly swam into focus. There were, so many black shapes, some huge some small, and muttering, so much muttering making a dull buzzing thrum through her ears. Her head hurt, pounded, from the noise no matter how soft it was. Kwiat slowly sat up, the lions around her coming into sharp focus and the talking no longer a dull buzz. There was an odd lioness, beautiful though she was, who seemed panicked and stressed until an odd male stepped into the center of the circle next to her. Haji she called him, a lion with a single wing. He was odd, but Kwiat let her gaze wander around the circle of lions, many of whom were snickering and making snide comments about her drool. Once this was realized, she ducked, attempting to cover her dripping maw with her large paws and failing. Eventually she just lay there, paw laid over her muzzle and a miserable look to her endless blue eyes. Lions rushed to each of her fellow dream wilders, the horned female being the one to stand at her side, speaking kindly and softly to her. Her name was Avril, and her words were the first kind ones that had been spoken to her in such a long time. Kwiat gave her a gentle nod, explaining that she felt just fine. All the while, the lioness noticed that strange one winged male's gaze, his smiles seemingly towards the horned female. Avril soon stood next to a large brown male, Kwiat assuming he was the alpha. As he spoke, she became confused once more, other lions coming forth to guide and protect her sisters, but, they all seemed to avoid her. Why? Was he broken or damaged, or simply different? Kwiat folded her ears back, having sat back up after Avril left. She kept her glittering gaze towards the ground, tail wrapped around her paws as her drool formed the shapes f other lions surrounding another, making her ears burn and earning her more snickers and snide words. She just wanted someone to approach her, talk to her. Avril had done this, and upon this thought her ears sprung forward along with her head snapping upward. Surely the lioness would stand at her side? Alas, once her eyes landed upon her gray pelt, Kwiat realized she couldn't. Just as her ears folded back once more, the male with a single wing stepped forward met by gasps and an appreciative look from the alpha. "Why did you do that... I'm a freak." Kwiat muttered, her ears layin back on her skull once more. The male then, to her surprise, smiled before lightly rubbing his forehead against hers and ruffling his wing. "I'm a freak too." Kwiat offered him the smallest hints of a smile, her drool changing shape once more to resemble.. feathers.
After the cave cleared, Kwiat was left alone with the male, gazing around the stone walls in wonder. "How long have I been asleep?" she muttered, turning her gaze to the male. "A year, you came to us in a white mist." Haji explained, staying beside her. "What's... your name?" Kwiat had turned her attention back to Haji, head slightly tilted. "Haji." He answered her simply, offering her another smile. "I'm..." She closed her eyes for a moment, seeming to think hard, "Kwiat Sen, it means.." Again, Kwiat was forced to think, a fog laying heavy over her memories. "Dream flower." she nodded, satisfied with her explanation. After this was said, Haji and Kwiat stood, off to tour the pride's home. Haji took her to the Alpha, introducing him as Ethereal. The lions spoke for a short while before continuing the tour, stopping to meet the Psychics and other healers. Kwiat then, after saying goodbye to the healers, came upon the cubs. They seemed interested in her and the blue drool dripping from her maw. Kwiat explained what it was, to the oos and aws of the cubs. They left them with Kwiat smiling, staying ever close to Haji's side. After being introduced to a few pride members and cub trainers mixed in with warriors, Haji lead her out of the camp and down a trail. "Thank you." Kwiat muttered, watching the sky for a moment. It was a beautiful orange color, the sun making its way down to the other side of the planet. "You're welcome." Haji nodded, continuing down the trail. They walked until they could barley see their paws, enjoying the company of each other until heading back to the camp to settle for the night.

broken* wrote:~the day Haji met Kwiat~
-a story of two loners coming together and forming an unbreakable bond-
It was stupid. He had been out doing his job; trying to track done some lion that had been assumed as part of the rebellion when they had left the pride in the middle of the night, with no warning. And he was finally getting somewhere; he had caught a scent and it was getting stronger with each passing moment. He was nearing the Unknown Lands, but had gotten permission to cross over into them if he had a good enough reason, and this scent was certainly just that. But of course, as always, someone had to burst his, very rare, bubble.
Flying high up in the sky appeared a dark figure; a scout. Of course, Haji had a deep-rooted hatred in his heart for any member of the Scout ranking. It made sense; being unable to hold that rank due to his imperfection, his single wing instead of a pair of wings. Yet the scout wasn’t just flying overhead and leaving, no, he was flying circles around Haji, getting closer and closer to the ground, before landing several feet in front of the tracker. Upon seeing who it was, Haji instantly stiffened, his ears pinning flat back and his teeth coming out in a snarl.
The dark brown scout simply scoffed, holding himself up higher at the welcome he got. It was Titus. The vain lion that was one of the banes of Haji’s existence. He treated him like a mutant, someone who should not exist and would do everyone a favor by just ending himself or leaving for good. And no, it wasn’t just how Haji thought he felt; Titus himself had stated those words, on multiple occasions. “Don’t worry freak, I wouldn’t be here if I had a choice. But our Alpha requested you come back immediately. Go to the healer’s den. Now.” And with that, he shot off like a bullet through the air, giving no explanation to his statement.
Haji growled, grumbling hateful words under his breath, but he knew better than to deny or disobey a request from the Alpha, so he turned around and began to run back towards the pride’s dens. He took no time to stop and rest, leaping over fallen logs and small streams, his muscles bunching and relaxing as they flexed, rippling with each movement, and it was no time before he was near the dens. However, he was forced to slow down, for everyone, literally every member of the pride, and some friendly nomads, were crowding the healers den, crammed against each other. He hated being touched by others, and wasn’t sure how he would get through, since the alpha was surely at the depth, the center, the main part of the den.
“HAJI!!” A loud voice shouted, likely (somehow) catching his scent, and a large grey figure could be seen barreling through the masses. There was his mother Avril, the lead healer for the pride, and she was coming right for him. “Come up, you cub! Now!” She grabbed him by his long hair, tugging on it as she turned around and barreled right back through the crowd, dragging him painfully along and not releasing her tight grip on him until they were deep within the healers den, all the way in the back where the twelve mystery lionesses had been lying asleep for about a year now.
When Avril released him, he was standing amongst the most important members of the pride; the four secondary leaders and the alpha. “Alpha Ethereal, what is it you needed me for? What’s going on?” The brown male looked over at the young adult with a slightly confused look before a slight smile came across his face. “Oh. I didn’t need anything. Your mother was a nervous wreck and insisted only you could ease her anxiety right now. Eleven of the lionesses are showing signs of waking up.”
Haji’s expression was filled with nothing but shock, but he tried his best to shake it off. “Sir, I had caught the scent of the traitor, and I was getting closer as I approached-“ his statement, however, was cut off by a sharp, loud gasp from Avril, whose eyes had widened with complete and total shock. Right at that moment, eleven of the twelve lionesses awoke. Some jolted up so fast they appeared slightly dizzy from the movement. Some slowly blinked their eyes open, looking around confused. But one female caught his eye in particular; the first female that he truly noticed among the group. She was a light grey/white being with purple and blue markings. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen before in his life.
But then he began to hear snickers and murmuring along the crowd, and with his keen hearing, he managed to focus in and listen to some comments being made. And dear lord they got his blood heated within seconds. Statements about the ‘second lioness’ were the most common thing, and not a single one was positive or kind. Haji’s blue eyes looked over at the lioness again, noticing for the first time the reason behind the terrible statements. Her drool. It appeared as though she couldn’t control it, and she instantly appeared embarrassed and tried to hide her snout.
Haji saw the healers each rush to one of the lionesses, his own mother going straight for the second, the one that had caught his own eye. He couldn’t help but smile, the way his mother spoke so kindly and gently to the female, calming her down and comforting her, telling her not to worry or be ashamed, that everything was okay and she was safe here. As all of this movement occurred, Avril went and spoke to each of the eleven after finishing with the beauty before him. After doing this, she approached the Alpha, and the pair spoke for several minutes in hushed tones. With a final nod, Ethereal stepped in front of the lionesses, whom he spoke to softly, before turning towards the pride.
“These lionesses are members of the pride! Taken many years ago into a deep slumber, they awaken now without any detailed memories from their pasts. I would like eleven volunteers to keep them safe; one per lioness. You will be their protector but also their friend; you will help them get used to the way we now run the pride and help them find their place, once again, among us. Who will volunteer?”
One by one, members of the pride stepped forward. For the most part, there was a decent variety among the ‘protectors’. One to two of each of the different types of warriors, one of the healers, two cub educators, etc. However, only ten LOC’s stepped forward, each taking their place next to one of the lionesses. But the second, the beautiful female with the embarrassed face and instantly disliked, was standing alone. Haji’s mother, he could tell, wanted to stand by her; but she had too many responsibilities as it is and couldn’t’ take it.
So when he stepped forward and turned to stand beside the drooling dame, shocked gasps erupted from the crowd, but Ethereal gave him a look of appreciation. As he again addressed the pride, Haji paid no attention, turning to look down at the lioness next to him. “Why did you do that? I’m… a freak. Why would you choose to protect me?” And for what was likely the first time in a very long time, Haji had a genuine smile on his face. He lightly rubbed his forehead against hers, a sign of affection but meant just to comfort her, and spoke four simple words (lightly ruffling his wing to catch her attention with it) and his words appeared to both calm the lioness and bring her happiness.
“I’m a freak too.”
