Max's favorite time of day is when the sun is in full shine, especially when there's no clouds in the sky. He finds it easier to relax with his cattle and take a nap with them under the trees. It also allows him time to write in his journals about becoming a horse racer once again, he even sketches little pictures of when he used to ride race horses before his hip injury.
On some days during this time, the neighborhood kids will come over to play with old Max, mainly to ride on his saddle. He doesn't mind as long as the kit is young, because due to his bad hip, too much weight could hurt him. He enjoys letting the kids ride because it lets him feel young and like a horse again.

Callum's favorite part of the day is the period of small light right before the sun crests the horizon. During this time of day Cal will just lay outside in the meadows, waiting for the sun to rise. He likes to watch as the night creatures turn to their beds, and the creatures of the day awaken from their slumber. His favorite thing to do is hunt down and chase the chirping crickets through the tall grass. He likes this time for its eerie and supernatural aura. Its almost scary to walk into the woods but comforting too. Cal also enjoys this time of day because it means he woke up early enough to catch the beautiful sunrises before he has to go to a long day on the ranch.
