ΚΚ: Rabbie was not born the way he is now. As a pup, he had boring reddish brown fur with no markings, and plain mud colored feathers. The only thing that stood out about the young male was his golden eyes and orb. A bit small for his age, Rabbie was an easy target for bullies...

Rabbie exhaled in slight panic as the two larger Wargs circled around him. His eyes darted around, his jaws spreading to call to his mother for help, but the sound never came. The dark warg, almost pitch black with colorful markings, bounded forward, his front paws slamming down onto Rabbie's muzzle.
"Going to call for mummy, runt?" He snickered, as his pale orange and yellow sidekick snapped at Rabbie's tail. Rabbie wimpered, lowering his head in an attempt to appear smaller. He managed to stem the sob that was rising in his chest. The dark warg smirked.
"You're so drab-looking. Plain. Boring. Bland. You should have been named Drabbie." The dark warg turned away for a moment, almost strutting in the direction of the sun, confident that he had won. Rabbie barked softly under his breath.
"That isn't my name." The dark warg's ears snap back, and he spins speedily, his nose suddenly inches from Rabbie's.
"What did you just say?" He snarled loudly, viciousness glaring in his reddish orange eyes. Rabbie lowered his head, then hesitated, raising it high.
"That isn't my name," he said again, more firmly.
"Oh, really?" The dark warg's sidekick growled.
"I think you need to be taught a lesson."Rabbie's eyes widen as the two leaped onto him, pushing him to the ground. He howled in fear, but the howl was stopped short. A ferocious blow from the pale orange wolf had landed between his eyes, knocking him unconscious. The black leaped onto his tail, his fangs descending onto Rabbie's brown feathers. The last thing he heard was the thump of his orb hitting the ground.
His golden eyes opened slowly, a few hours later. Everything was blurry, but he could see the outline of the two wargs grinning in front of him. He yelped, trying to scramble backwards, but the two didn't advance. They started cackling, watching the smaller warg's feeble attempts.
"Hey," the dark warg grins evilly.
"Your orb makes a good toy. Sorry, we may have been rough with it." The pale orange shoved his friend aside in order to get his word in.
"I think the crack improves it!" The bullies laughed maliciously, then raced off out of sight.
Crack.....? Orb...? Rabbie's thoughts moved sluggishly as he tried to understand what they meant. He then saw his orb a few meters away.
Oh. No. No, no, no! Flopping onto his paws, Rabbie pulled himself to the orb, feeling tears prick his eyes at the huge crevice spanning the side. He could see some of the golden liquid seeping out like blood, and he held back another sob. Picking up his orb, he put it back into place. Rabbie felt some of the golden contents drip onto his forehead, and down his muzzle. One of his tears hits the ground, wetting the grass. As he watches the tear sink into the mud, he sees a bit of brown feather near it. He assumed it was from a molting hawk or falcon, but upon closer inspection, he recognized the drab shade. Rabbie almost didn't want to look, but he forced himself. This time, tears flew freely from his eyes, soaking his cheeks as he stared at his all but destroyed tail feathers.
No! Not this! Why? Why me?!Turning, Rabbie ran in the opposite direction of his home. He didn't want to go back. He would disgrace his family even more if he did. He felt moisture drip through his face fur uncomfortably, but he didn't care.
They're right. I'm drab, and useless. I'm a disgrace. Rabbie didn't know how long he ran, just him and his thoughts. His race came to a halt, though. A searing pain smashed into his muzzle, and he fell backwards onto his rump. Rubbing his nose, Rabbie tilted his eyes upwards, afraid of what he would see. A gasp rippled over his muzzle, and he stands, taking a step back from the enormous gray and orange dragon towering in front of him.
"Pl-please. Don't h-hurt me," his bark wavered. The dragon lowered his head until he was eye level with Rabbie. Wordlessly, he examined the injured and upset pup. With a shake of his mane, the dragon rises back up. He frowns, then opens his jaws to speak.
"You are here for a reason." His words rumbled slowly, and sounded like rocks tumbling down a mountainside.
"I am old. You can see this." As he spoke, the dragon gestured towards his shabby scales, which were crusted and dirty.
"I can give my strength to one before I die. But there are side effects." He warned, something glimmering in his eyes. They were golden, like Rabbie's. Rabbie stared in awe for a moment, then answered slowly.
"You... want to.. give them to... me?" Wonder coursed through his voice as the dragon nodded slowly.
"S-sir, what is your n-name?" The small warg questioned. The dragon closed his eyes for a moment, then extended his muzzle down to Rabbie.
"Ryoko," the dragon breathed out. He stretched a claw down, resting it on Rabbie's orb.
Blinding light shined from the orb when the dragon touched it. Rabbie screamed in shock and pain, because it hurt, but his scream was lost in the shine. When the light faded, the dragon was gone. In his place was a stone colored lizard, which quickly scuttled away. Rabbie blinked. He looked up, and started to panic when he realized his orb was gone. Glancing down, he saw it resting near his paws. It was larger, and the liquid glowed slightly. The crack was completely gone, not even a ghost of it visible. He placed a paw on it, and almost jumped back when he saw his paw. His toes were white, and orange stripes streaked the now brilliant crimson of his legs. Inspecting the rest of his body, he found a similar transformation had occurred there. A stone and sun colored dragon decorated his haunches, a spitting image of Ryoko. He smiled, waving his now fluffy tail, which was tipped with icicle-like golden shards. His feathers had a white diamond each, and were connected to his tail by a white puff of fur. Rabbie looked towards the direction the lizard had run.
"Thank you, Ryoko." He grasped his orb, and ran back to his pack.
The pale orange and the dark wargs heard his pawsteps, and raced towards him. They did not see him because he was behind a hill, but they knew it had to be him.
"What's wrong, Drabbie? Come back for more?" They jeered loudly at him, but quickly shut up when he crested the hill. Padding past them, Rabbie spoke four words.
"That isn't my name."- - -
