Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.
Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sentient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

Event;; Libra stared, eyes widen with shock. Body frozen with their shock. Libra looked up, mouth agap before they looked back down, at the paper held to the floor by their paws. Their bobbed tail twitched and tears welled up in blue eyes and a sob escaped their chest. Libra leaned back until he was sitting, staring down at the paper with tears of joy. He knew what this letter meant. He had been waiting and dreading the day it came. The day where he stayed where he is, or allow him to move on. Libra lifts a paw, wiping the tears away. They turn to look out the window. A few birds fly by and the tree just outside the window is in full bloom. Leaves and flowers sway in the breeze/ Libra stands up and ends to the window, leaving the note on the paper. "We are happy to inform you that your mother is making a full recovery," are the only words to stand out on the paper.
Libra smiles, happy to hear of this. Months ago, his life was thrown into a world of chaos when his mother got deathly ill. So bad he was forced to allow to a foreign hospital just so they had a chance to save her life. Everything had changed that moment, and Libra say just at how much his mother did to him. He never realized how hard she fought to do everything for him and he realized he never did thank her for the help. For being there for him. To him, that letter changed everything. He had a second chance to prove to his mother how grateful he is of her. A second chance to return the kindness and love she gave to him without a second thought.

Res with this idea-
Was recently run over by a car. Most of their tail was mangled so badly that it had to be amputated. The now missing tail and slight head injury from impact causes them balance issues. This one moment in their life changed the way they live and now theyre learning to deal with their disability.

I nudged the white door open, my paws frantically pushing piles of clothes to the side. As slush splatted against the window panes of my living room, I sprinted back, umbrella now in tow, towards the patio. I had to save my sunflower.
In Mother Nature’s arsenal of weapons, the most frustrating is hail. This menace rains down from the frigid melancholy skies all spring, threatening to ravage your foliage. My little tale starts a year ago, when my ongoing love affair with all things floral reached its peak. This passion for greenery was neither new nor has it slowed. Yet, the failed endeavor with a mammoth sunflower still shines out in stunning clarity.
Working hard towards something, guarding it or protecting it, does not always ensure results. I tending the floral babe daily, observing with maternal care as a small sprout lengthened into a tall proud stalk.… and once it bloomed, my disappointment was palpable. Sunflowers are beautiful giants, yet mine was a meek yellow daisy - the lack of grandeur oddly in contrast to the amount of love poured into it. So, I abandoned my project. When my hopes cascaded into disappointing oblivion, I left the poor being to wither while its dehydrated roots retracted into dust.
Among the thousands of obstacles I’ve overcome, the most simplistic and fulfilling event occurred in my backyard. It taught me to value my work instead of the outcome, to cherish what I have regardless of the unexpected forms it may come in. Most of all, I learned that mistakes are inevitable, that opportunities are wasted, but to never again allow myself to idly sit by and watch it happen.❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀ ❀
