Tropical Storm Bonnie; Day One
So, today there was an alert on the TV, about the Tropical Storm Bonnie. I've decided to go and chase her, and went to the airport to get on the plane. Now that I'm on it, I've decided to write in my old storm journal. The last storm, or supercell, I have written in here is about the 2011 Joplin Tornado. I think the plane is landing! I will continue more when I get off and to my hotel, I've got everything to stay safe in my bag.

Tropical Storm Bonnie; Day Two
Eheheh, sorry, I forgot to write more yesterday! It's raining a lot near my hotel, I think there's at least a foot of water on the ground! The storm surge should come at any second, so everyone in the hotel was moved to the seventh floor. Did you know the hotel I'm staying in is the same one as I stayed in for Hurricane Katrina? I almost thought that I was going to die in Hurricane Katrina, the storm surge was over eight feet! The largest one in the country. I have to dig those out of this old journal too. I think the scientists would like to read them, I did put a lot of graphic images in there! Oh wait, there's activity outside. I think the storm surge is coming! This has gotten more fun the more often I do this! I hope that some day there will be an even stronger hurricane, an even larger supercell, and an even larger tornado! I think I'm gonna read Beowulf when the lights come back on. I just realized how random I can be! Ah well, you get what you get. Now, I have to finish my entry and go outside to get better data.

Hurricane Katrina; Day One
I just flew into New Orleans, because I heard there was a large hurricane on it's way. Not many people are fleeing, but I have a feeling that it's going to get hard to be around. The plane wasn't full, only with a few storm chasers such as myself. We had to get dropped off at an airport a distance away from the city, the pilot didn't want to crash into the dark clouds. Speaking of the clouds, they are lighting up like fireflies. Every strike of lightning looks different, and every strike illuminates the clouds, making the storm look much more fearsome that it truly is. Well, it might be truly deadly, but the weather forecasts are saying it isn't. The rain pours down, hitting the roof as the thunder out-sounds it. The hurricane sirens are blaring, and the storm surge comes. The surge is at least eight feet deep, with the lightning flashing above, and the thunder crashing, with the sound of the rain hitting the roof. The hotel starts to sway, as the debris outside whips in the air. The crashing of the front door echos throughout the hotel. I get down and start to pray, as the staff takes us into the stairwell. This was such a bad idea, is the only thing I can think of. I hope that (the) God(s) forgive me, and the storm doesn't claim me. I also pray for those who couldn't escape when the time was there, and how I hope my family forgives me, and how they move on without me. I know that there would only be one thing to hope for, and that wasn't for the hotel to stand, or the people with me to survive. It was for the world to move on with this large storm, for the families that lost their homes to grow from this devastation, and for the people who passed to go to heaven.

Hurricane Katrina; Day Three
I ended up surviving the last entry, and the levees broke. The city is flooded, and everyone is stranded. When the levees broke, the sound was sicking and loud. The crack was slow and long. The entire sound made it horrific. I think I hear rescue, so I have to go.
