Canis Concolor, otherwise known as Zvers, are an alien species that were discovered aboard a crashed space ship. Initially believed to be too vicious to tame, humans have begun to form bonds with these strange beasts, despite warnings from government agents who want them rounded up and exterminated. Despite several attempts, the government has thus far been unable to recapture them and Zvers have begun to breed. Many average joes have set off in search of a Zver to call their very own after hearing rumors that the intelligent creatures could be tamed with a bit of bribery and gentle coaxing. Will you join the hunt?

I've been looking at various species of Jellyfish for a while, and this zver is based off of two similar species of Jellyfish; the Black sea nettle and the Atlantic sea nettle

How did they get the bell?; This bell resembles his soft side whether he realizes or not. Phoenix received it from a close friend who has since been taken by the government. The friend was someone who had the pleasure of seeing this side of Phoenix, and which Phoenix wears to honor that friend. It's rare to see this side of him and he hates to talk about his friend or the bell.
Personality; Phoenix prefers to be alone, but can gather many with his choice of words and actions. Just because he prefers to be alone doesn't mean he has no friends, he just has few and far in between. For the friends he does have, Phoenix is very patient, loyal, considerate, and protective towards them. He is calm and reserved until pushed to a point, in which case his morals and soft personality show through. This doesn't happen often and usually Phoenix gets mad instead, which you should be warned he can have a bad temper. Although the temper doesn't apply towards his friends, and it's thought to be even more so towards a mate or potential mate.

How did they get the bell?;

It was a gift

I batted curiously at the small rusty metal ball with a paw. The movement made it rattle slightly and I paused before batting it again. What an odd thing. I spent some time simply batting the rusty thing around with my paws before yawning and stretching lazily. A sudden noise caught my attention and I looked up and locked eyes with a dark Zver who regarded me curiously. I huffed, sitting down and curling my tail around my paws.

"And just who are you?" I asked curiously.

"Noir and I know someone who would be willing to get you a bell if you wanted one" he replied simply.

"A bell? What is this bell thing you speak of?" I questioned. My questions seemed to amuse this newcomer as he made soft sort of rumble noise.

"You were messing with one just a little while ago" definite amusement colored his voice and I grumbled before answering him.

"Fine, I should like a bell. How do I get one?" My reply was slightly hesitant but that didn't seem to bother Noir, who merely tilted his head before baring his teeth in a strange sort expression.

"Come back by here in a few days and I'll have you a bell of your very own" he said green eyes twinkling in response to my last question.

The next few days seemed to pass by quickly and I found myself pacing as I waited for Noir to arrive with my bell thing. When he finally arrived I stared at the creature stood by him. She could have been human other than the points to her ears and the color of her eyes. In her hands she held a piece of fabric with a decently sized bell firmly attached to it.

She began to speak to me but I couldn't understand a word she was saying, I shrank back slightly lowering myself. This creature unnerved me but I wasn't quite sure whether I wanted to run from her or not. She made an expression much like Noir had done when we first met and lowered herself down to my level, holding out the bell for me.

"Isabela is my person and she wants to attach the bell to your tail" Noir told me softly. The one he called Isabela edged forward in my direction and I hesitantly crept forward toward her in return. I stilled when she was in touching distance and she waited a moment before reaching out and offering her hand for me investigate, her scent swirled through me and I noticed a lingering smell of other Zvers among other creature on her person.

Sighing softly I timidly brushed my muzzle against her hand and then offered her my tail. In return she offered me another one of those teeth baring expressions before carefully securing the fabric bell and all around my tail, when she was done Isabela stood and retreated backward. I swished my tail from side to side enjoying the soft jingle that the bell uttered as it moved.

Personality:
While her name may refer to something wildly vicious and out of control, Wildfire herself is a rather collected and refined Zver

How did they get the bell?: Nettle found it one evening when he was at the beach. A bottle floated up to the sand with a message and a bell inside. The message was hard to read, but he tried to make it out. He thought he read something that the bell was magic and would protect him, so he's worn it ever since. He's also kept the message in case he would ever come upon someone who could read it.

How did they get the bell?: The bell was gifted to Brand by a traveller. The human offered Brand food, and Brand had followed the man from there. Where ever the traveller went, Brand went. When the man walked, bells rang, three of them hanging from his staff. Brand trusted the man, and had no doubt in him. While travelling, Brand became wise beyond his days. Little did he know, though, the reason that the man had began his travels so late in life. In fact, that very man was suffering from a disease with no cure. His last wish was to see the world, and he did. Eventually, he and Brand settled down in a small town, but the peaceful days wouldn't last. The old man's time had come. On his deathbed, the man stripped on of his prized bells from his staff and tied it to Brand's tail, both a testimony to his existence and to their friendship.
