Why the scarves? It is from each time she had helped a new soul out with hard times. She has many more but she only wears these certain ones because she made promises she couldn't keep but she still tries for them. ^^

Why the scarves?
Elise absolutely adores traveling. For every new place she travels, she buys a handmade scarf from a local vendor in an effort to support the economy where they live. But why scarves? Why not necklaces, or hats, or even socks? Well, you see, Elise lost her parents when she was very young. The only lingering memory she has of them was the day her mum knit her that pink-and-purple scarf for her birthday. Of course, it was much too big at the time, but she's grown into it since then. As of that special birthday, scarves have been a way for her to capture memories; wearing one from a certain place may trigger memories from being there that she had long forgotten. At this point, Elise only owns three scarves: One from Paris, one from Piana - a scenic town on the coast of Corsica, and, of course, the one given to her by her mum. Elise aims to travel the globe one day and collect a scarf from each city or town she visits, while helping out the local economy as well.

Why the scarves?:
Simple, she collects them. Well more like hoards them, but she can't help it she loves all the beautiful looks, feel and patterns of them and simply has to have it. She makes her own but she also buys some at boutiques, she total number of scarfs is 27 as of now each one a different color and pattern. She hates having to pick just one to wear so she usually picks 3-4 she thinks look good together and wears them, she even wore a red plaid one on her head like a bandana just cause she REALLY wanted to wear it.
