Personality:Anubis is very aware of himself and the way he acts, but not in a way that insists he's insecure, it simply comes easily to him. Fortunately, it tends to put him as the one others gravitate to in time of need, confidence and maturity lead to the natural role of a leader in times of stress or panic. Unfortunately, it can also give off an air of conceitedness, and an elitist mindset.
He also holds an armor on those he loves- people or objects. As a guard dog, this is the first quality one would want in him. He enjoys the knowledge that he keeps what is his safe, it gives him a strong sense of duty and purpose in this world, and after successfully frightening off a -very- dangerous critter, perhaps a bird of some sort- tricky creatures with their wings, Anubis often has a feeling of how everything is worth it. What is 'it'? The bad side of this need to protect, of course- though it gives him reassurance and happiness, when he is not doing his job there's an amount of stress that can sometimes keep him from focusing right. He worries about what might happen if he fails to be adequate in what he does.
