Jasper had always taken a mysterious liking to rocks, even as a kit. He could point out and identify stones
as if they'd had their names written on them. So it was no surprise that when he grew older, he took a hobby
in collecting them. The thing is, he doesn't like anyone knowing about this hobby - thinking others would deem
it nerdy and a waste of time. So he keeps his passions secret, and has built a wall around himself that he feels is almost
impenetrable. He never disliked the idea of friends, and he's really hopeful to earn more over time. But his
fear of total embarrassment overcomes him, and he's extremely awkward when it comes to making acquaintances.
He turns to jokes and humor to mask this however, and is often identified as the funny guy of the group. Perhaps
someday he will make a friend or two that he can be totally honest with, and won't have to hide his passions from.
