Calamity woke up one morning, and walked around the paddock he was in, the grass was crisp with the frost that had formed over night. Calamity sniffed it curiously, it was starting to get cold outside. Calamity wasn't sure how to respond... except he wanted to use it to his advantage some how. He trotted around, looking for his twin, Blossom, she loved joining him on his mischievous adventures. Calamity found her rolling around in the frost covered snow, "Hey, rolling around in the grass? That's so unlike you!" Calamity teased "Oh, morning Calamity!" Blossom stood up, facing him. "So... I wanted to-" "Cause some trouble" Blossom cut him off, smirking. "You know me so well!" Calamity responded.
The two of them trotted around the paddock, looking for some way to use the frost, or, well, any kind of trouble making they could really. "Hmm, have anything yet" Blossom asked, "Nope, I usually do by now, but I've got nothing.." He said disappointingly. "What are you two up to?" They heard a voice, and stopped to look where it came from, and their eyes finally stopped when they reached Phantom, "Uh, nothing" Calamity said, "As usual I suppose" she said sarcastically "Do you have any ideas?" Blossom asked innocently. "You could go see what Soul is up to, he may want to join you" Phantom suggested, "Of course! He love pranks!" Blossom exclaimed, "I mean, playing around innocently!" Blossom realized her mistake, and tried to correct it, but it was too late, "Sure, anyways, have fun kids!"
Calamity and Blossom races each other to the stables, where they were sure they would find Soul, and they were right, they could see inside the barn from the paddock, and could see Soul sleeping in his stall. "Hey Soul! Wake up!" Calamity called. Soul raised his head, flicking his ears, and looking around for where his wake up call came from, "Over here!" Blossom called, Soul stared at them, "Oh, hey guys" Soul replied, "What's up?" "Oh, we were just... playing around, perfectly normal" Blossom answered innocently, "Sure, what are you guys actually doing? I wanna come!" Soul became in patient, pawing at the ground in his stall.
Calamity some how made it over the fence and toward the stall to let Soul out, without the humans seeing him. Letting Soul out was a breeze, and they made it back to the paddock. "So, what should we do?" the Seal Brown stallion asked, "We could....." Blossom started, "I got nothing" she admitted, "Everyone is totally blocked huh?" Soul assumed, "nobody has any ideas"
"Oh! I just had an idea! We could pull some pranks on Jack!" Calamity exclaimed, "we could, but what would we do?" the mare questioned, "Oh, yeah..." Calamity looked disappointed once more. "I think I have the solution!" Soul looked at the siblings, "We could dump some water on him, it's harmless, but funny too!" "Yeah! let's go find him then!" Blossom gained excitement.
The trouble making trio went on the hunt to find Jack, the older flaxen chestnut stallion, so they could 'play with him innocently' They found him grazing in the pasture next to the one they were in, a little ways away. On the count of three, they all jumped the fence, successfully. They then trotted unseen into the barn, where buckets of water were stored. Calamity grabbed one, and they made their way to the paddock where Jack was. Blossom jumped the fence, and the bucket was passed to her while Calamity and Soul jumped. The bucket was then passed back to Calamity, and they started to trot towards Jack, their heads down.
They arrived at their destination, right behind Jack, it was so quiet, all you could hear was the sound of Jack's jaw munching the grass. Calamity walked silently to one side of Jack, with the bucket in his mouth. The suspense was killing them all, but it came to an end when he dumped the water. All they heard was a "Hey!" as they all scattered, galloping away, their heads up, whinnying in excitement. "You guys are such trouble makers!" Jack yelled playfully, "That's us!" Calamity laughed.
