As the sun rose into high noon, a van rolled up the dirt road to Lunar Kennels. The cargo it held was a malnourished Baltic Husky that Harley had picked out herself after getting wind of this particular dog. She had felt enraged that such a canine was treated so poorly and been abandoned by his previous owners. The main office door slowly opened as Casey, one of her staff members poked his head in. "He is here, Harley." The woman smiled lightly and nodded without shifting her gaze from the paperwork in her hands. "Ill be out in a few. Go ahead and let him into one of the runs." Her voice was calm yet stern for she knew this dog was going to be a tough case to settle. Dogs who are treated the way this guy was, often become aggressive along with developing separation anxiety.

As Casey lead the black male Baltic Husky into one of the dog runs closest to the main office building, an agonizing howl followed a scream was heard from its direction. All the staff knew what had happened and they paid it no mind. The now free husky stopped in his tracks as his ears perked up at the sound. The door to the main office creaked open as a Dire Wolf came padding out. This creature stood 4.6ft at its shoulders and wore a light brown pelt that was decorated with a dark reddish brown stripe that went from the middle of her forehead to tail tip and four socks along with ear tips. Her underbelly was an almost tan color as her chest expanded easily with each breath while the light burgundy collar rested easily around her neck. This fae was the boss around the kennels and not just of the humans, all the canines on the grounds knew it. As a pair of dark brown eyes settled on the new potential pack member, the male seemed uncertain on what to do. Instead of running in fear of this massive creature, he stood his ground despite being in no condition to fight. In a single leap, the wolf was over the 5ft tall fence and in the run with the male. "Welcome to the grounds of Lunar Kennels. My name is Cuore and Im your Alphess."

Harley spent the next month bonding with her rescued Baltic Husky named Marcellus. Around the kennels, she called him Marcel and he proved to be fiercely loyal to her. It didnt matter if she came to him as a human or a wolf, Marcel recognized her as his Leader and respected her as such. She has found that he really enjoys going on hunts and having her to accompany him. There will be times that they go on a hunt at least three times a week if not more.
