Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.
Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.

x↪ Personality → Gypsy is, well, a gypsy.
Not in the most frequently used sense of the word, however.
Most would expect to see an eccentric person, someone who
wears odd clothes and lives in a caravan. But, in both the sense
of the definition and what Gypsy is, she's always needing a sense
of adventure. Some would label Gypsy as an "adrenaline junkie",
always needing to find something that'll put her in odd
situations - Mile high cliff dive into the ocean, anyone?
While Gypsy's personality can be a little overwhelming to
strangers, once you get to know her you'll fall in love.
She has boundless energy (not helpful to those of us who aren't
nocturnal, however) and is actually incredibly kind.
She grows close to others rarely, putting her trust
in only those she deems deserving. Gypsy's boundless
energy can be negative - resulting in a hatred of
small spaces, a tendency to fidget when bored or
contained, and a minor case of insomnia. Gypsy is
incredibly crafty and intelligent, and is frequently
shunned for her views.

Gypsy is fairly close with her other group members,
as she's gotten to know them quite well over time.
The leader of the group has always intrigued Gypsy,
and she often holds late night conversations with them,
their hushed voices under the star light perfect to
Gypsy. Just because she enjoys his company doesn't
mean she always agrees with them, however. She
occasionally argues with them over decisions such
as where to cross the river, when to rest, etcetera.
With Diamond, Gypsy feels incredibly comfortable.
She feels as though she can be herself around Dia-
mond, and enjoys her conversations with the vixen.↪ Voidclan →Gypsy, while tentative about returning to Voidclan
due to the argument she had with the clan's leader,
Neona, (see short story) Gypsy is incredibly homesick
and, as such, can't help but return home. While she
has thoroughly enjoyed her travels, much like a tiger
returning to its birthplace, Gypsy can't help but return
to the home she loves.

Gypsy was born into Voidclan, and for the first few years of her life, everything was centered on one day becoming the Beta, the alpha's second hand. Her mother was a sweetheart who wanted nothing but good for her only daughter. Gypsy never knew her father, but her mother, Viola, always told Gypsy that she took after him. Apparently he was like Gypsy - a wanderer roaming aimlessly. A free spirit. When Gypsy was approaching her teen years, her mother grew very ill from a cold that had morphed into something much worse. When her mother passed away, the clan mourned for weeks and Gypsy was taken in by Voidclan's alpha, Neona. That was when the entire game changed. Gypsy came up with several steps that Voidclan could take to innovate, and she told them to Neona. This became a point of tension between the two, resulting in an argument the day of the pilgrimage. Being a year younger than the average age of a pilgrimage, Gypsy wasn't slotted to leave for a year, but Neona sent her early. Nowadays, Gypsy struggles with her ideas versus traditions, and what she wants to do with her life and in Voidclan.

Gypsy resents that fact that she has PKS syndrome, as it means other DVFs frequently, and literally, look down at her. She's gotten used to it, however, and is slowly growing accustomed to the fact that she'll be this size for quite a while.

- Scarf - A scarf given to her by Neona for a birthday, Gypsy
wears it daily. The bottom has several small tears and
stains from being dragged through mud or snagged on twigs,
but Gypsy believes that the scarf's "wounds" simply represent
her numerous journeys.
- Pouch - The small leather pouches Gypsy carries with her were
a gift from the clan before she left. Since she was only slotted to
begin the pilgrimage last minute, they were taken from Gyspy's
best friend, who had already completed the pilgrimage.
- Jewelry - Given to her by Neona the day of her mother's
death. Gypsy likes to believe that as long as she's wearing them
her mother can protect her. Who knows? Maybe she's right.
- Contents of Pouch -
~ Several small stones, gifts from clan members to represent
never giving up.
~ Various berries to snack on when she gets hungry.
~ A bluejay feather, to give her hope. A gift from Neona.
~ Several leaves, shells, and other small items that Gyspy
thought looked pretty cool.

With soft, encouraging melodies and beautiful vocal harmonies,
this song matches Gypsy with it's encouraging message and
energetic chorus. You'd be hard pressed to find a song
with lyrics that embody Gypsy better than these do.
↪ Why I'm Trying Out →I've been trying to save my final DVF slot
for a very special DVF. When I first saw these
DVFs, I honestly didn't think I would try out, although
I adored the designs. About ten minutes later, however,
I found that I was still thinking about the adorable little
brown DVF with the orange scarf, and had, in fact, come
up with a loose character idea for them. The next day,
she was still on my mind, and I gave in and went ahead and
posted a form. After that, things just fell into place,
so I'm here now hoping to win this beautiful baby as my final
Delta Velorum Fox.
