A lion with the gift of air can: Create great gusts of force, clear fog or smoke, can glide when jumping for greater distances.
Sonnet isn't overly impressed by her powers but uses them to her advantage when battling, however due to her rank as Cub Trainer, she tends not to really need to use great gusts of wind. Normally, she simply clears the fog when training the cubs and retains a glide when jumping as an aid to moving around. Often using this ability to sneak up on her students and test their abilities.
rank;; Cub Trainer. Most would say that she is a likable teacher and that she is very easy to talk to about any concerns. She puts the Cubs before herself and provides extra help when necessary. She will never push them if they are not comfortable with something yet. Sonnet may not be the strictest, but she is likely one of the most expecting of trainers. She expects independence. She expects questions. She expects to be asked. She expects her tail to be tugged when a cub is unsure. Sonnet expects to able to care for each of her trainees.

Sonnet is a particularly gentle Lioness, putting herself out there to ensure that her students get the best education possible. She guides her students well and wants to do more for them, but she needs some time to do things for herself. When she is alone, she appears to be somewhat uncertain.
Loneliness isn't something that Sonnet deals with well. She hates being alone, but can isolate herself if something goes wrong. She will forget, but not forgive. Having been rarely alone as a child causes her to seek attention and crave it. Some would say that Sonnet is a hopeless romantic. She would love to one day have a mate. She needs someone who will always be there and provide her attention in which she can give directly back.
On the occasion, Sonnet appears rather hyperactive and tends to be relatively childish. Some would call her petulant due to this. Her childish behaviour causes some to believe she is naive until they come to know her, she can be wise and is generally and good lion to seek guidance and aid from.

Papyrus; the Idiot
Papyrus is a loud and flamboyant Lion who presents a confident, charismatic image of himself. He tends to work hard, and despite his brash personality, he is a very kind friend at heart which Sonnet has come to love - no matter have annoying she finds him. He is extremely optimistic and innocent which has allowed Sonnet to relax in his presence and form a strong bond with him.
Even though Pap is oblivious and far from observant, he cares a lot for his pal, Sonnet. She finds this relieving and finds that she is far more comfortable with him she had originally thought she would be. He is rather similar to her trainees, but does whatever she can not to treat him as such.
She enjoys messing around with him and completing his puzzles, as well as just sitting and watching him scratch into the dirt, drawing. She feels that she has a good friendship with Pap. He is generally a good friend, if not at times annoying, she enjoys his company.
Cecilia; the Wise
The blind, older Lioness has taught Sonnet a lot. If it wasn't for her long term friend, she likely wouldn't have decided to train as hard as she had. She is fairly protective of Cecilia as she understands that the Lioness has insecurities, she is very easily unnerved and has difficulty moving around so little ol' Sonnet decided to take up the role as Cecilia's guide.
Cecilia sits around when the cubs are being trained by Sonnet, the cubs had previously spoken rudely of her but Sonnet soon over heard and came to defend her buddy. She respects Cecilia and now, so do the cubs who have taken to bringing the older Lion into some of their games and training sessions.
Roman; the Best Friend
Roman is Sonnet's best friend. She adores him. He is a great friend and is very defensive over her, as she is him. They are good pals and joke around with each other a lot. They don't tend to be found without each other and if they are apart, they tend to talk about each other to other Lions.
Sonnet likes to tell Roman stories about her cubs in training and always brings any injured trainees to him due to her high level of trust in her healer buddy whom she grew up with. Due to having known each other for so long, they have a great deal of trust for each other and intend to spend the rest of their lives together as friends.
Roman has previously attempted to 'woo' Sonnet and requested that they considered becoming Mates, but Sonnet has continued to refuse. She does not feel that she wants to take that step with him and would rather remain comfortable in their friendship.

story & art;; Sonnet sat silently as she stared out into the morning light. Her ear twitched as she heard the crack of a twig. She took a deep breathe, smelling the air, 'Cecilia, are you okay?" She asked as she stood. The young Lioness turned to her older friend, rubbing her head against the older and wiser Lioness' shoulder with a soft smile.
"I am fine, Sonnet. I just wanted to be here for the sunrise." Cecilia replied as she closed her silver eyes as she felt the warmth of the sun's rays on her face. She let a small sigh, "It's beautiful." She added as she turned her head to Sonnet, pressing her nose against the younger LOCs cheek affectionately. "Where is Roman? I would've thought you two would be watching the sun together." She spoke teasingly, as she knew the Lion held interest in young Sonnet, who stood with a pink blush upon her face. With a chuckle, Cecilia turned around, "I will see you later, hun. Don't forget to send Papyrus my way."
Sonnet watched as Cecilia walked away. She sat herself down as she watched the sun rise higher in the sky. She smiled before grooming herself before waiting for the sun to stand high.
After some time and a short doze, Sonnet was awoken by a loud roar. She grumbled as she opened one eye to see Roman standing next to her with a childish grin. "Good afternoon, Sonny." He spoke as he settled besides her.
"Oh, no. I haven't slept that long have I?" Sonnet spoke in a fluster as she began to stand.
Roman placed a paw on her back, "I already spoke to Pap." He told her with a gentle expression, his voice calm and relaxed after a long morning of dealing with hiccups, coughs, furballs and grazes. He watched Sonnet relax again before smiling, "So, did you have any plans for today?" He asked.
"No. I didn't, but I guess you want to do something?" She asked with a light chuckle.
The pair padded down a trail through the forest. They spoke of silly things, theirs hopes and fears, everything that they had spoke of before. They laughed and leapt through the trees, big grins plastered upon their faces. wip

Rank: Warrior - Support
Nila helps other warriors out on a mission, distracting, helping improve their attacks, or even helping to hide scents or escape. She loves her job, though sometimes she wants to help a bit more. She's trying to talk others into teaching her more offensive moves so she can be of even more use, but so far, no one is willing (and for good cause too). Her ideas and "plans" often backfire so her knowing more powerful moves is a bit risky right now. But her thoughts are highly appreciated.
She's reliable though, often adapting to situations quickly and thinking up new steps or even changing plans on a split second whim. She's careful and thorough when she's out on a mission or in a fight. She wouldn't risk trying a new move unless she knew it would work.

Nila often gets along with others rather easily, her charming ways makes it easy to approach and start conversations with her. She can be very charismatic and confident most of the time, but sometimes she's self doubting and shut in. She likes to be in small and large groups of lions, wanting to get to know as many warriors as she can, so she'll know how to help them out when the time comes.
On her good days, she's highly motivated to accomplish her tasks and help out the best she can. She tends to go overboard at times, however. If she isn't helping out during a mission, she's training on her own or with colleagues. She's very hardworking and imaginative. She loves to think up new plans and ways to use her element against foe and friend alike. Though sometimes it'll be a bigger distraction to her side than the other haha. She tries her best and knows hard work will bear fruit...eventually.
She loves sharing her ideas and brainstorming with others. She loves hearing, learning, and talking about rational ideas and really, anything that makes her think. She always tries to look at both side's views on matters, often arguing the other sides' views even if she doesn't whole heartedly believe in it. She is a bit confrontational, mostly verbally as she tries to keep her image clean for the sake of others as well as her partners.
She doesn't take sides in this civil war either, as she can see both side's point of view. All she cares about is the future of the pride and the lions to come. She only cares about there being something left for them to protect, respect, and love. Which is a little funny, because she can't stand cubs.
She quickly learned after entering her adult stage. Cubs make her uncomfortable and she's rather not ever have to deal with them. Ever. She doesn't hate them, but often tells others she does, since she thinks being scared of them is a ridiculous excuse or reason. Cubs are just weird, and she can't really pinpoint why she feels this way towards them, but she does, and she's asking everyone to keep their tiny furballs to themselves.
The one thing most lions find the most surprising about her, is her view on the outlanders and nomads. Though she's more welcoming to the outlanders than she is of the nomads. She thinks nomads take the easy way out of things. That they can just roam around scott free without a worry. They have the protection of the pride without having to put in the work to uphold that protection.
She isn't too fond of outlanders, mostly if they have any ill feelings towards the pride or look down on the pride. She feels a bit sorry for them, and would welcome them into the lands with open arms...after they showed they could be trusted. She's heard how hard it is to live out there without the pride's glow. She's skeptical of them and sees them as a bit too dangerous to be left alone to their own devices.

History:
There honestly isn't much to say about this girl. She didn't have a tragic or even eventful life up until this point. She was born and she grew up. The only thing would probably be her fighting spirit and her determination to get what she wants. She was trained to be a cub trainer, healer, even a prides member. Basically anything but what she is now. But she wanted to be more. She wanted, and still does, to be a great assist to the pride and her home. Protect it from those who wish to harm her friends and family. She worked hard. Trained hard, and argued and argued until she got her wish. They were reluctant at first, but saw the results of her determination and training. They decided to at least give her a shot, and here she is now, for the past 100+ years, helping to keep her homelands safe from any threat or danger heading their way.

Nila is a bit curious about this guy, honestly. She's recently noticed he slips out a lot, going keep into the outskirts of the pridelands. She wants to know where he goes, but the fact that he's never gone long and that the other lions don't seem to care eases her mind. She doesn't know him or anyone that does. She won't go out of her way to interact with him, since he looks like he wouldn't respond to her anyways. Plus the fact that he seems to be around the Yitma kid often is a bit strange to her, but all the more reason to keep her distance.

She doesn't have much of an opinion on this male. All she knows is that he teaches cubs, and is always with cubs. They don't really have much in common and have never been put in a situation where they would need to talk to each other. He does this thing, and she does hers.
✩ Anatu ;;
Nila doesn't like Anatu. She thinks she acts like a spoiled brat, too stubborn and independent for her own good. Nila also doesn't like the thought of the white lioness hanging around the pridelands so much. She doesn't know where Anatu came from, but it would be very comforting for the youngster to go back or at least show some positive interest in the pride. Even join. Nila tends to tease the girl whenever they meet, often getting on Anatu's nerves, which leaves Nila with a face full of water.

She won't say much about this cub. Only that he looks like he has issues and she doesn't want any part in it. He freaks her out a bit more than most cubs, mainly due to his "birth" and appearance and really, his overall demeanour. He looks like he's expecting something bad to happen and she really doesn't wanna get mixed up in it. She's gonna steer clear of this boy for a long time.

Nila has teamed up with this male before, and she can say one thing. "What a pain" Okay, well three. She finds him cute, but in an annoying younger brother kinda of way. Or maybe the annoying younger brother of your best friend.... Hmm. He's good at what he does, if he decides to do it right. She thinks he's a bit too set in his ways and doesn't mend well to the needs of others. He could use a bit of growing up, to be honest.

Personality: Those who know Ianise know her to be an easy-going lioness who's quick to smile and even quicker to laugh. This doesn't make her a pushover however, as she works around merciless criminals that deserve their sentience in prison. Iani dislikes things that challenge her beyond her known limits. The frustration of a challenge can spur her quickly to anger and when ever possible she will try to drop a challenge to keep from showing weakness. It doesn't mean everyone's free of her temper as she's been known to snap at even her allies every once in a while.
History: Iani remembers very little about her first few years as a cub only that she'd been separated from her birth parents and came into the care of the LOC on a particularly cold night when the sky was clear of clouds and the frost clung to the rich grasses of their Home Planet. Perhaps her parents were Nomads and maybe from another pride - as a child she dreamed that they were from the mystical land Oasis, but a few months of this delusion left her disappointed - but regardless, they were not around to see her grow to adulthood.
