What is a Sima?
Simas are cat/wolf creatures basically. Their paws resemble a wolves while their body structure could resemble a cat. Simas are also known as 'Sword Mammels'. This name comes from their tail. The tail is the most important part of a Sima's body. They resemble a sword most of all. They are thick and fluffy at the base and when the go down the tail, it gets thinner then widens into two tail guards like the guards on a sword. The jewel acts like the blade.

The jewel of a Sima comes in various shapes, sizes and colors, in which they make a Sima unique. Their eyes are always the same color as he jewels unless they have a special condition. Simas have a furry body, their mane around the neck the most furry of all. Even their ears are fuzzy. Baby Simas are more so however, with furry lips, poofier manes and slightly larger ears than what their heads would allow.

Simas are omnivores, meaning they could eat anything from fruit to the meat of a rabbit and even to things like candy or cake. Their teeth are sharp in the front with molars in the back to chew with. All Simas live or come from tropical places. Most are house Simas though and are transferred to other locations where they live with humans. In the wild they are usually in packs of ten. They are social creatures so that's good. Some Simas mate for life, while others like temporary mates.

The jewels of Simas glow at the night, illuminating the darkness when they want. Some jewel colors however cause darkness while others cause more interesting powers.

A Sima has two types of horns that are found in the wild. They are uncommon though to find a lot with them. There are long ones and short ones. Babies don't know which they got until they grow up.

Why are they angry?: Cairo is angry because he just got in a trap a hunter laid out. He is also grumpy sometimes, but this made it worse.
What does the string mean?: The string represents his friendship with another Sima, Egypt. (I don't actually have a sima called Egypt!)

Why are they angry?: Someone stole some of his food, and he's very irritated about it. He's been saving it for a weekend snack..!
What does the string mean?: It's a reminder for him. A reminder for what, he forgot.. Hopefully not anything important.

Why are they angry?: Cougar is usually annoyed with people-- but why? Well a lot of the time people simply can't respect his preferences! He hates nicknames, and due to his small stature and size he's often mistaken for a small cat. He despises this, and he hates being reminded of how short/petite he is. Cougar also really loathes is personal space being invaded-- particularly if he's warned you before. He's not a very 'clingy' person, so having people dangerously close to him makes him intensely uncomfortable.
What does the string mean?: Well that's spider silk. He wears it around his leg because Cougar actually has a pet spider-- her name is Winona. He actually really likes spiders, though he used to harbor a fear of them when he was young-- he's since gotten over it. He wears the string to make him think about the silliness of some fears-- and to remind him that not everything is as bad as it seems-- but also as an ode to his wonderful pet spider.

Why are they angry?: Long story short his tooth was all wobbly and he really felt annoyed and wanted to get the tooth off on his own because he's scared of the dentist. So he tried to attach a loop of thin string around his tooth, tied the other end to the knob of an open door, then tried to slam the door shut, hoping his tooth would get pulled out. It didn't end well.
What does the string mean?: It's just the excess string. Except it's been on his foreleg for about three days now. Maybe he's too lazy to take it off, or he's just apathetic about it altogether.

Why are they angry?: He has been having really bad headaches lately, which makes him very irritated at best. Why is the world so loud all of a sudden?! Usually he is quite well mannered and happy, but that is taking a backseat until these headaches go away.

What does the string mean?: The string isn't anything special really. He just uses it to fiddle with when he is losing focus in what he is doing, or when he feels like he is starting to panic. He actually has many more strings that he uses, as well as elastics and even shoelaces that he ties around his arm. He tries to make patterns in the material to soothe him.

they aren't angry, their looking for something. and it's discouraging them greatly. they are looking for their father,
who up and left his family when he was just a child. he is discouraged because all leads to his possible whereabouts
were misleading and false. he is searching for his father, to find the reason behind his disappearance, and maybe to
help him if he was in trouble.
What does the string mean?:

the string is a silk thread, made from his father; who was born in china. the string was tied to a scroll that told of his
father's parting; and a possible lead to his whereabouts. the string is a sign of hope, and a possible explanation.

Why are they angry?: Samuel suffers from anxiety, as well as a "short fuse," as some would say. He gets mad over the absolute littlest of things - forgetting to put on deodorant, stubbing his toe, losing something precious to him... And that's it. He lost something his sister gave him, and instead of being sad about it, he's frustrated and angered by it. Soon, however, the anger will subside, and he'll start crying. That's just how Samuel works.
What does the string mean?: The string was part of a gift from his older sister, Sanuye. You see, she used to have a lucky rabbit's foot that she would fiddle with when she was nervous. When she learned that her younger brother suffered from anxiety, she gave the lucky rabbit's foot to Samuel, and told him that holding something and playing around with it for a bit would help calm him down. Well, it worked, and ever since that day, Samuel has kept it tied to his arm... Until today. Today, something happened - he still doesn't know what - and somehow, he lost the rabbit's foot. It's got him high-strung, and he doesn't want to tell his sister, because he's afraid she'll get mad at him, so he's just really upset and angry at himself for letting the rabbit's foot get lost.
