General Info

Chrysaora Basilisk are the prevalent equine creatures that inhabit the world Lucent. They roam by the hundreds, using their unique hooves to score the uneven rock and track down their most vital source of nourishment; evil. The relationship between Chrysaora and humans is a complex one. Chrysaora vocalize like horses, but are also thought to have a syrinx much like birds do and have been recorded displaying a variety of sharp, avian sounds. Their eyes layer over with a dark, murky black until their normal eye color pierces through in a great ball of electric light, radiating toward their victim's open eyes and paralyzing them. The Glare is able to stop both human and creature, and after a few days, unique to other forms of basilisk, the paralyzed being transforms into a sea nettle.

Personality: Brit is a kind mare who would literally take a whole day to help someone out if she had to. She likes to spend most of her free time doing anything she would classify as fun, this usually ending up in her racing around pastures. She's generally curious and tries to do as much exploring as she can, but sometimes things don't always work the way she wants. Most of the other animals where she lives think she's a little quirky and try to avoid her, but she does get along with a Chrys stallion named Kroniidsetiid. They're very similar in personality and have a lot of fun joking around whenever they get the chance. Not a lot upsets Brit, but the main thing that does get to her is when she knows she's hurt someone's feelings unintentionally or intentionally. She doesn't have too much pride to say sorry, and usually does the moment she notices she's upset someone. At the end of the day though, Brit Dorokuv is a simple mare who wishes nothing more than to please those around her, help out when needed, and have fun without being stopped.

Personality: Halcyon is a very noble steed, who keeps his head high up on his shoulders. Look out, those below may get no more than a passing glance. Other stallions, stay away unless you mean to have a nice chat or laugh, he's quick to spark a fight or intimidate flight. Mares? Only the nice with earn him a smile, but the rest will bring him a sour mood. Halcyon not-so-happy? He would rather remain cool and collected. He is easily swayed by other's touch, or more tongue, so watch what you say and he will stick around. The boy loves to flash his mane, especially along the tan beaches where he could easily be the sand. The perfect mare is there he awaits. The warm sunny light on his back is just what he needs, and certainly likes. The cold winter storms or grey clouds are not to his delight. But catching an eye with a flash of his blues is just what he seeks to do. In his spare time, he loves to venture to the water and have a splash, or toss the seaweed as high as he might. But on the dreariest of days, well, you'll find Halcyon sleeping through a daze.
