What is a Sima?
Simas are cat/wolf creatures basically. Their paws resemble a wolves while their body structure could resemble a cat. Simas are also known as 'Sword Mammels'. This name comes from their tail. The tail is the most important part of a Sima's body. They resemble a sword most of all. They are thick and fluffy at the base and when the go down the tail, it gets thinner then widens into two tail guards like the guards on a sword. The jewel acts like the blade.
The jewel of a Sima comes in various shapes, sizes and colors, in which they make a Sima unique. Their eyes are always the same color as he jewels unless they have a special condition. Simas have a furry body, their mane around the neck the most furry of all. Even their ears are fuzzy. Baby Simas are more so however, with furry lips, poofier manes and slightly larger ears than what their heads would allow.
Simas are omnivores, meaning they could eat anything from fruit to the meat of a rabbit and even to things like candy or cake. Their teeth are sharp in the front with molars in the back to chew with. All Simas live or come from tropical places. Most are house Simas though and are transferred to other locations where they live with humans. In the wild they are usually in packs of ten. They are social creatures so that's good. Some Simas mate for life, while others like temporary mates.
The jewels of Simas glow at the night, illuminating the darkness when they want. Some jewel colors however cause darkness while others cause more interesting powers.
A Sima has two types of horns that are found in the wild. They are uncommon though to find a lot with them. There are long ones and short ones. Babies don't know which they got until they grow up.

“Listen sweetheart, if you want it that badly, I’ll trade it to ya.” The sima’s deep and sketchy tone would have
scared anyone off if they had been in their right mind. Unfortunately, Piper was a little tipsy at the moment.
Her naive curiosity would have probably gotten the best of her either way, but she was in a particularly vulnerable
state of mind at this point in time. Grimmerie knew this, and he intended to take advantage of it.
“Trade it for what?” Piper said in a languid voice.
“Why… a kiss perhaps?” Grimmerie said slyly. He knew that he would get what he wanted, this sima was clearly too
out-of-it to suggest otherwise. To his surprise, she stopped and thought for a second.
“Y’know what… sure! Why not?” Piper leaned over and gave Grimmerie a quick peck, obviously not wavered by his
proposition. Grimmerie handed over the green bottle.
“Enjoy my dear… I hope to see ya around again sometime.” The dark sima offered a pleasant smile. Piper giggled
and placed her paw on his nose. This confused Grimmerie greatly, but he decided not to question the action.
“I like you, you’re different.” She said with a laugh. Without another word, she skipped away, the small green bottle
put away, safely nestled in her bag. Grimmerie shook his head and chucked. Customers were always interesting, but he
hadn’t seen a buyer that peppy in a very long time. It gave Grimmerie a nice feeling inside… how odd.

“Ave navik, ave navik! Ah tum ah tum ave navik!” Grimmerie chanted quietly as he prepared his evening meal.
Reciting the ancient chants nearly lost throughout history was always a calming activity for the young warlock.
He enjoyed singing the words to different tunes, making the words roll off his tongue in a different way every
time. The chanting slowly faded away as Grimmerie set out his meal on the cedar wood table.
Ah… Chai tea and special caesar salad. It was truly the best of meals in Grimmerie’s opinion. If not for the
unexpected visitor, he would have had a simply charming night. Excited knocking rang through the hut.
Grimmerie was taken by such surprise that he spilled some of his tea… what a shame. Alas, he must answer the
door, and the knocking was getting even more urgent.
“May I help you?” Grimmerie said solemnly, even before the door had fully been opened.
“I’m looking for a Grimm--oh nevermind that!” A perky voice came from the other side of the door and
Grimmerie was once again struck with surprise. Before him stood the light purple sima he had sold a potion
to only a day before.
“Miss, may I ask why you are at my house? And how in the word did you get here?” Grimmerie stood staring at
the sima… Piper, yes, her name was Piper Violet.
“Oh I just followed the odd markings in the dirt from your shop until I found a stone path! I was just wondering
if you had any more of that… stuff.” Piper looked up at Grimmerie with a greedy look in her eyes.
“Elixir, dear. Sorry, but I gave you the last bottle. I’ll need to make another batch.” Grimmerie said as politely
as possible. He didn’t want to come across as rude, although he was a little upset at the invasion of his privacy.
“Perhaps you would like to come in?”
“Oh no, no. I don’t want to bother you any more than I already have.” Piper responded.
“I insist, my darling.” Grimmerie said, at last regaining his composure. This was a wonderful business opportunity,
and he might as well take it. But perhaps it could be something more than that? No, what an illogical thought.
━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✦ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━
“What’s really funny is that I only got the bottle to put it up for decoration! I had no idea you could actually drink
the thing. I just like collecting little knick knacks and the best place to find them is the market. Your shop
caught my eye...” Piper chatted excitedly. Grimmerie listened carefully but at the same time was in his own
little world. He was immensely glad that Piper hadn’t drunk the green elixir, as it did have some… effects. While
he marketed the elixir as a simple ‘stress reliever’, the potion didn’t exactly work in the way you would expect.
It would cause a sort of memory block for painful experiences, which did relieve stress, but would cause some
interesting hallucinations and rarely memory loss.
“But y’know, I wanted a whole RAINBOW of colors for the shelf, but you only gave me a green bottle. So I
decided to come find you and ask you if you had any more of the stuff, and if you could make it in other colors.”
“Elixir.” Grimmerie corrected. “And yes, I can make it in other colors.” He chucked. Grimmerie had never
thought that his brews would ever be bought just because they were pretty. What a silly thing, to buy something
just to look at it! But surely Piper had a better reason than that.
“Awesome!! How do you make the stuff--elixir anyways?” The light purple sima seemed genuinely interested in
the little bottles and how they were created. Grimmerie wasn’t surprised, as Piper seemed like the type that
would be fascinated by such a simple thing. He admired her curiosity, but he knew that he couldn’t reveal his
secrets to a complete stranger. But Piper wasn’t exactly a stranger anymore. The two simas had been talking
for almost an hour now. If anything, Piper was more like a friend. Friend, what a strange word… and with it,
and odd feeling of happiness.
“Well, I suppose I could show you. Follow me.” Grimmerie stood up from his seat at the table and headed to
a door leading to a small room. Piper followed excitedly.
For the first time in years, Grimmerie wore a smile, a real smile. It was nice to have a friend.
