Also, they're amazing divers. Like, really good. They can torpedo down at least 1870 feet, and they can jump 7 feet in the air. Zara strives to be as amazing as penguins, but sadly penguins are above all.

Lochland loves Saw Whet Owls not only because they are such soft, fluffy, and beautiful creatures but because his best friend is one! His best friend, Kilgore, and him do everything together except fly and Lochland doesn't mind. Lochland loves to hug owls and often stalks out the night for them because he knows how they work thanks to Kilgore. Lochland was born with a fear of birds because of their talons but Kilgore completely changed this and now he loves them. He loves hiding under Kilgore's wings and messing around with them. Whenever he accidentally makes Kilgore mad, Lochland likes to hug him and keep his wings down so he can't fly off until he's happy with him again.
