Well, I can't see this boy content in any stall, nor trapped on a small farm. Something about him proclaims a deep seated wanderlust, a desire to come an go as he pleases. To see more of the world, and all its many marvels. Tripp, which would be his nickname, is an old English name means "traveler". Yet despite the independence I spy, the more pastel shades of orange and its gentle contrast with his tovero markings brings to mind a rather gentle temper, with the sharper juxtaposition against black lending itself to a certain sternness- perhaps that of a healer. Wanting and willing to help in what ways he may, but not about to be pushed about by grumbling, grouchy, persnickety patients. Thyme is a medical herb, it's oil containing thymol, an antiseptic, and historically gifted to knights due to the belief it would grant courage. Something just about any healer would need when dealing with an upset mother or a waspish patient. Thyme also provides a tie to nature, something I can see this boy taking great pleasure in- for the herbs, the wonders and beauties, and the ever so elusive peace and quiet if nothing else. After all, in trying to heal every hurt he comes across, this sweet boy rarely seems to get any time to himself, making such moments all the more precious.
