► WHAT ARE VOLKS?


Volks are immortal nocturne wolf-like creatures, found by humans in a foreign planet a few years ago. Volks do not breed and the birth of these creatures is still unknown.
Their main features are very long ears and tail, feathers on their cheek fur and tail and long and sharp claws. Their pupils are always the exact same color as the iris, making it look like they have no pupil at all. Their feathers, nose, claws, ear fur and tongue glow in the dark. Their size is close to a wolf's. Volks are very agile creatures due to their slim bodies, making it easy for them to escape in any kind of situations. They can easily swim and climb trees. Volks have an omnivore diet, even though they feed mostly on fruits.
Volks are smart creatures, extremely friendly and curious. Some of them are usually tamed by humans before reaching their maturity. Once you tame a wolf, both you and your wolf receive the same marking on the same body part, representing your bond. Some markings are simple and some markings are complex - the complexity of the marking matches the effort of the taming process.

___there's a young carefree soul stuck in a body it doesn't belong to. it's the one who refused to grow up to the expectations of those of the same blood and it has not yet been completely understood by them. the truth is this soul does not understand those of the same blood either.

___this young soul is often seen as the wingless bird - the one who isn't taken seriously, the one who tries to express itself but cannot reach the blurred ones. but when you pick up the fallen feathers of a wingless bird you learn the truth. even when these feathers seem unreachable they truly are not; unfortunately, very few can reach them.




___there was once a young soul who had a pretty normal life in the first years of life. in the beginning of his journey, the young one slowly started to understand his surroundings. he was fascinated by the simple things he touched and by the ones he wished he could touch: the grass under his paws, the stars above his nose, the wind flowing through his ears. he was a happy one while he had these simple things around him.

___as he grew up, the young soul started to feel like he didn’t belong to the reality he was living in. despite still being relatively young, he started to feel like he wasn’t meant to become older. he wouldn’t understand the elders’ thoughts and actions and he would be misunderstood by them as well - he couldn’t see a way to fit in like he was supposed to.

___as the young soul uselessly tried to understand them and fit in, he caught the eyes of a few ones. those seemed to look at him as if they understood him. as if they had gone through the same. they slowly started to approach him and earn his trust. very slowly to be honest, but as they became closer day by day, the young one realized they actually understood every single word he said; and the ones he didn’t say they could see them in his eyes. they realized one of the young soul's trait was that he was an over thinker and that he thoroughly analyzed every single situation. he would always see a little bit of good and a little bit of bad in everything. those who understood him would see him as the balanced one.

___the young soul was named æquilibrium - æ for short - and he represents the balance. æ strongly believes everything has its own good and its own bad - there isn't a single thing in the universe that is completely bad or completely good. to his eyes there's always some good in the bad and some bad in the good.
