Name:
Fragments of Beyond (Contract)
Gender: Mare
Eye Color: Emerald Green
Height: 16.3 hh
Personality:
Contract is, undeniably, a mare who knows she's looked at by others; she uses this to her advantage in order to get apples and carrots from people, and she'll do anything shy of hurting herself or someone else to get it. She absolutely adores children though, and while she can be a bit demanding of older people, such as teenagers or adults, she is one of gentlest, kindest and most patient mares when she is around a child. She does have a habit of bumping people she likes with her nose, and flicking then with her tail when they're close enough, but Contract does also have a tendency to get a bit over enthusiastic and often reaches a trotting gait before asked when under saddle; she's a good girl al told, but if she isn't given a hello apple or carrot, as she dislikes sugar cubes or peppermint, Contract often goes about ignoring you for a short few minutes until she's ready to get to work.
On a dimmer note, Contract is rather aggressive under saddle along with being excitable. Red bows in her tail while being ridden are a clear sign that she will kick out, and while she is being worked with for other problems that arise, such as nipping at passerbys if she missed kicking at them, she tends to bob her head, snort and often has a hard mouth and needs a riding crop for encouragement. Spurs are never a good idea with her, as she'll just stiffen up and throw her head about in distress; she is safe for others to ride around if enough space is given, and if she is left to the back of any grouping. She does well in shows that don't neccessarily ask for too much movement, such as Dressage or Hunter shows as they reuire intense scrutiny on a horses movement and gracefulness. She does well enough as a vaulting horse during practice runs, but has yet to actually be shown due to her kicking tendency. Gmykhana seems to be her best bet for showing, as well as pulling competitions.
Theme Song:
Howling, Abingdon Boys School
Halter:
Ruddy brown, like old leaves during the fall season. The design is entirely up to you, as is be happy with a simple one if that's what you'd prefer to add in. c:
