personality; This female has an artistic streak in her. She is also a reflective female and keeps herself to herself, mostly. She has a sweet but unpredictable nature. Leaving some to think she is a bit of a psychopath, but she is not. She isn't practically violent nor aggressive. But she can be a bit unstable. She has a strong personality and is strong willed but she can come across as a bit timid or shy, just not on Halloween. Though these won't hold her down because once she sets a target, she's determined to meet it. On Halloween she has a totally different attitude, she can be cruel, a bit of a prankster and all round annoying. Halloween is her favourite time of the year. She loves everything about it and just wants to have fun.
story of them on halloween night; Hertz trotted happily through the mist. The night was young and the atmosphere cold and dark, just the way she liked it. Her companion Dracula, who was a small bundle of black fluff with wings more so than an actual vampire bat in which he was, swooped around her head. There was enormous roar in which came from the clouds. The small bat immediately hide behind Hertz's ear. The mare gave a giggle and said, still giggling,
"Oh Dracula it's only a bit of thunder, it's not going to hurt you, but the lightning might." She'd really scared the little bat now, he quiver from behind her. The mare felt guilty and said softly
"I'm sorry Drac and don't worry your little wings off, no lightning will strike you while I'm here." The mare smiled and gave the little bat a playful nudge. The young bat then perched himself in the middle of the mare's 2 ears.
Hertz continues her crescent moon and bat markings shimmer in the moonlight, her dark bay coat blending her into her surroundings. Her eyes the colour of crimson shone out like a warning sign.
They been walking for a bit when the mare heard the pounding of hooves. Inquisitively, the young mare treads closer. Her hooves beating down on the crisp floor of the graveyard. She noticed a glimpse of white. She tilts her head before cautiously trotting up. She sees a blue roan leopard stallion. She notices the stallion whip his head round, his ice blue eyes not trusting. Hertz's crimson eyes glimmered. Trick or Treat? That was what was going round this mare's head, she practically wanted to trick the stallion. The mare calmly said
"Hello, I'm Hertz, what's your name." The stallion was reluctant to give his name but the mare kept on persisting. He snorted calmly
" My name's Snow." Hertz smirked before saying, without thinking,
"Isn't that a mare's name?" Then the stallion retorted back by stating
"Isn't yours a stallion's?" The mare snorted angrily, she didn't like being beaten at her own game.
"Ok then smarty, how about a race?" The stallion not wanting to stay in the company of this mare too long agreed. The mare smirked before lining up, side by side with the stallion.
Ok the rules are there aren't any except you must follow the path I state." She watched the stallion nod.
"Good, well ok then, we will start here, then run through the shadow tree woods, next through the swamp of no return and then over the hill of infinitive height. Before making it back here, right ready?" The stallion laughed at the name's, slightly, before saying calmly
"Ok, ready, set, GO!!!"
Both competitors set off at the same pace. They drew nearer and nearer to the "shadow tree' woods. Hertz smiled as she navigated through with ease. As she looked to her right she saw Snow in the distance. Perfect she was going to win. Both horses dodged and dived around trees. Snow had stumbled into a few but still kept Hertz in sight. Hertz by now had nearly reached the swamp. The mare smiled as she looked behind for the 100th time. She then tripped over and landed in the swamp. The mare had gotten herself stuck and moved around wildly. At that moment Snow had stopped, he had bumped into Ghost, his beautiful white dire wolf companion. Ghost had been helping Snow through the woods but had gotten a thorn in his paw and Snow was trying to pull it out delicately. The stallion had managed to get it out and made it to the edge of the swamp. The stallion was about to continue when he saw Hertz stuck. He simply rolled his eyes before helping the annoying mare out. The mare hung her head low and mumbled
"Thanks I was nearly eaten by that rotten swamp." The stallion smiled before saying
"Well let the best horse win." Both horses both reared up and took off.
Both the horses were neck and neck as they galloped over the "infinite" hill. Ghost and Dracula had run over to the finishing line and were both holding a piece cloth or leaves they had found, to make a flag. Dracula held his vibrant red and orange autumn leaf high and Ghost held a muddy cloth, which had once been pale blue as speckles shone through the mud. The two companions heard the pounding of thundering hooves as the two cross the Finnish line. The companions cheer and it's decided as a photo finish. After that the group decided to frolic around in the woods and playing small pranks on others.
