I waited at my stables for the trailer to arrive. I had already gotten her new tack ready. I had decided she'll be staying in one of the stalls with a pen connected to the pasture so she could get used to the other neravontii. 10 minutes late I see a big truck hauling a small trailer for 2. I waited with her new halter with a plate that had her name, Rose Mary. The truck stopped and Violenca had stepped out. They unlatched they trailer for me and I walked in to greet my new girl. She jumped a bit not expecting it to be a new face that removes her.

I had slowly backed her out and into the sun. She was a lovely mare and fair in height. She nudged me softly then looked in Violenca's dirrection and nodded her head and slowly walked towards her. It seemed she had understood what was going on and she was just saying goodbye. We both chuckled and Violenca stroked her then took off to drive away with the truck. I walked her up to her stall to let her get settled for awhile before I tempt tacking her up and riding her.

I believe the mare has seen tack before because when I had tied her to the post and brought out the saddle she had no reaction. I slowly moved the pad from beneath and let her sniff it. She did but then moved her head to the side. So I gave the temptation of setting it on her back and she jumped a bit but then settled. I went for the saddle and she looked over at her back and made a silly face but then looked away when I arrived with the saddle. She did the same once I had gotten the saddle on her back then nudged me. I stroked her then pushed her head away. I tightened the saddle, then I slipped on the bridle. I removed the halter and walked her to the round pen. I did a little bit of training with her and lunged her for awhile.

She was a little bit silly while I lunged her, and when she trotted over to me, she made a very loud squeal. I then patted her and called her silly.

It was time to get her used to weight int he saddle and just me mounting in general. So I did some exercises with her on both sides a few times before I actually had mounted her. She was a little bit nervous and moved to the side quickly when I had already mounted. To correct her I had pulled on the reins and till she had stopped. She was a bit silly for the first 5 minutes then seemed to had settled a bit. I decided she was safe to move out of the round pen, so I opened the gate while riding her and headed for the pasture with a pond. I had to hold her back as I shut the gate, but soon as I was done she darted for the pond and I had to get a tight grip. I then Pulled tightly on the reins and she came to a quick stop but when we already had made it to the pond so I fly off the saddle and into the pond.

Well aren't I lucky I didn't have any important clothing on nor my phone on me. I got up and stomped over to the silly young mare. I stopped infront of her and splashed her face. She leaped into the pond excited. I decided it's only her first being ridden and she didn't understand so I just played with her. I then moved over to remove the saddle and bridle so they do not get ruined, as for they're brand new. I brought them over to the fence and set it there for now and went back to play since I was wet already so why not?
