This is Rei's brother! <3
I forgot Rei had Gulastra Plume, but I think this boy looks okay without it!
Unlike Rei, he actually shows one Cream dilution gene, making him Smoky Grullo~
and the Pintaloosa is like Rei's Frame Overo + Varnish

Show Name: Butterflies in My Stomach
(Like if you were to actually eat some marmalade with butterflies in it hehe)
Barn Name: Beau
Gender: Stallion
Eye Color: Byzantium Purple
Height: 17 hh
Personality: The name 'Beau' is french for 'beautiful', like the wings of a stunningly coloured butterfly. Beau has always been a confident stallion, which is kind of suggested by his name. Not once has he ever seen himself as anything less than that. He likes to be impressive, but don't mistake it for arrogance. He doesn't think he's better than everyone else, he just wants to stand out from the crowd and make lasting first impressions... Not to mention capture the attention of the mares. He isn't a heartbreaker, but he's quite the flirt. It isn't a bad thing when it comes to him though. He just really likes to make his loved ones aware that they mean a lot to him and he likes to give them his undivided attention. Despite this, rumors had been spread in the past about him only being with mares to play with their hearts, but it was quick to stop as barely anyone could believe it, as it was so far from the truth.
Relationship With Sister: As any youngsters would, the two of them used to always bicker and argue over the silliest little things. Everything was a dispute, from who got the last apple to who really won a race. Speaking of races, they'd always competed against each other when they were bored with nobody else around. It was always a challenge of who was the better sibling. Both fought hard for every title they earned in their innumerable games. You'd think they were barely even friends, but that idea would leave as soon as you saw them work together. They often paired up in competitions against pairs of other fillies and colts, and this was when you could clearly see how close they really were. During times like these, they'd easily be able to run perfectly in time with each other and they'd do everything synchronized so effortlessly that you'd think they were reading each other's minds. As they grew up a little bit, their little arguments slowly disappeared and soon they never fought at all. Knowing that they worked better together than alone, they vowed to always be there for the other, as that was much more effective than arguing for both if them. They didn't say it too much, but it's clear to anyone that they'd do anything for each other. Beau loves her more than anything and would protect her at any cost, even if it meant having to fight a pack of wolves. It's true; he'd die for her. If that's what it took to ensure her safety, that's the extreme he would go to with no questions asked. He's a very protective brother, but really, he just wants what's best her, as he would hate to see her saddened.
Favorite Memory With Sister: Memory with Sister:
His favourite memory with his sister was probably when he stood up for her for the first time. It was the beginning of their transition from constant arguing to an unbreakable friendship.
It had been the day after their first show. Beau, Rei, and a few other horses had been loaded off the large metal beast of a trailer, finally home. The day couldn't have felt longer. Each of the horses that came from the barn had been entered into three classes, leaving them all exhausted by the end. This hadn't been such a great day for either Beau or Rei, as they'd both placed no higher than fifth in both of their classes. It was explainable though. The two of them couldn't sleep the night before in anticipation of the next day.
Although most of the others had been supportive, reassuring the two of them that their low placings in the small classes were simply a reflection of their lack of sleep, some weren't as kind. There was this group of young stallions who thought of themselves as so much better than all the others. Sure they had top bloodlines and the paperwork and placings to prove it, but that didn't give them any excuse to be as rude as they were. They'd all placed either first or second in a class or two and because of that, they thought the others were 'losers' and failures.
"So you think you're a show horse? You think you could ever be anything that we are? Don't blame your lack of talent on your sleep; there's no need to lie. Some just aren't competition material, it's okay... You know, you could always do something less. Maybe it would be a little more at your level.", they said obnoxiously. They were trying to bring her down as much as they possibly could.
But little did they know, they'd picked the wrong mare to pick on. Don't let her name deceive you into thinking that she would be easily talked down to. Her brother Beau came to her side as soon as he noticed what was going on. He'd never really felt this defensive of her before, but he knew standing up for her was the right thing to do.
He stepped in front of the mare, standing between her and the stallions who were much smaller than him. "Did you guys have any problems with my sister?" he said intimidatingly. Beau kept inching towards the group as he spoke, the stains slowly backing away as his tone became more forceful. "Do I need to say it again? Which one of you was asking for trouble?" he continued, pushing into the group's 'leader' who was now showing slight signs of fear. "Do you think you're better? Faster? Tougher? More talented? Well I shot news for you, you're not. You guys are below us all because you treat everyone so poorly. How about you try a change in attitude before you start trying to change someone else?" he stated, his solid hooves not moving, now unafraid of standing his ground.
The group now was left with mouths open but no words to come out of them. There we're terrified of his hide stallion and no acting could hide it. At that moment, Beau added, "And if I ever catch you doing something like that again.... Let's just say you're in big, big trouble and you probably don't want to be.
After that incident, Beau just continued acting protective over Rei. It simply felt like the natural thing to do, not to mention it was comforting to have someone else to protect. This was the turning point at which he gained Rei's trust and respect, and ever since then, they've been very very close.
Theme Song: How Long Will I Love You (it goes with their relationship, just think of it as family love instead of romantic aha <3)
