name; Lannister

halter color; inspired by the house flag <3
a little more about him;Lannister truly demonstrates the nature of the house he was names after. He is quite competitive, always hungry for some type of glory. He always wins champion at the shows and when he's at competitions, most others are intimated by him because he makes it obvious that he is out there to regain the title. Strong, powerful, and confident, Lannister is a force to be reckoned with. He always puts a lot of effort forwards to impress the judges to ensure his victory. He likes the fact that he is regarded as one of the top horses. Scratch that, he loves it. Some think of him as proud and some think of him as arrogant, but in the end, he just wants to be known as a champion.
But like the truth behind the Lannister house, the stallion isn't quite exactly how you'd think he is. After all, everything is not what it seems. He isn't quite as confident as he makes himself look. On the inside, he actually has a pretty big fear of failing. He feels that if he fails, he's not only disappointing himself, that he'd be bringing shame to his herd. He's a bit too hard on himself and that can lead to him getting very frustrated. He never thinks he's good enough because he always wants to be the best. When he wins champion, he is proud, but he worries about not winning at the show, and he can't help but want to push himself to win at even higher level competitions. He feels the need to constantly be victorious, like he's on top of everything. That's when he is the happiest.
likes; As I've already mentioned lots of times, Lannister loves to win. The higher the title the better. He also loves the victory lap that goes along with winning champion at some shows. Galloping out on the rail alone while the others watch is such a good feeling to him, as he is proud to show of his wins since it takes a lot of hard training to get there. Also, it's when he feels more confident because in that moment, he feels nothing but the glory. Also on a side note, Lannister likes grapes. He likes them quite a lot actually, even in their dried form (raisins). They're his favourite show morning snack or after-training reward.
dislikes; Also as already explained, he hates failing more than anything. It's the worst feeling in the world to him. Lannister also isn't a big fan of any sort of disrespect. Whether it's towards him or a friend of his, he will not let anyone act rudely or say anything bad in that sense. And a snack that he refuses to touch is cherries. He never fails to turn his nose up at them and walk away whenever he is offered them.
story; So here's a story of the place calling of Lann's first show, when he first realized how much he liked to win.
It had been a somewhat dreary day, as it had been cloudy and constantly raining off and on, but there was anticipation buzzing in the air. The final classes of the show had ended just fifteen minutes before, and now all the horses were lined up together, forming a wall of horses down the centre of the arena. Some pawed, some chewed their bits, but the impatience was apparent in every one of the competitors. Riders stood alongside their mount, the odd few adjusting their helmets or their jackets. Breaking the silence, the blaring of the speakers sounded, spooking a few of the horses, but Lannister still stood looking regal, his long mane, tail, and feathering still shining like white silk, the day's dirt somehow barely leaving a mark on his mostly-white coat. The announcer began to read off names and numbers from a list as the small table with the rainbow array of rosettes was set up. One by one, horses and their riders left the line to retrieve an award for their achievements from the first class. Lannister stared intently as the placings went up and up, nearing first place, and feeling nervous as his name hadn't been called. The glimmer of hope he had for winning the first place was ripped away from him as another expensive-looking horse stepped elegantly towards the judges as they pinned the tri-colored ribbon on to his bridle. Watching this horse get so many photos taken and so much attention made Lannister extremely jealous. He wanted to win more badly than anything else at that moment. He had pinned his ears back when the horse walked back around to his place in line, but quickly flicked them forwards again, not wanting to make a bad impression on the judges who were now examining the group of horses from their spot in the centre of the arena.
After the placings for the next two classes were called, Lannister was starting to loose hope. Perhaps he wasn't good enough for the show. No, he'd tried his best; he always did. But he still stood, forcing himself to be as patient as he possibly could while they called out a few more placings. This was the final class he'd entered in; this was it. He felt a growing amount of anticipation inside, but it ceased as the first place winner was called yet again. He was upset that the judges didn't think he was as good as the others, and all he wanted to do was go home and train even harder. Hanging his head, he followed the line that had started to exit the arena, but they were paused by the speakers turning on again. "Wait!", the voice called over the sound system. He lifted his head and swivelled his ears to listen, confused about what was going on. He couldn't believe what happened next. The announcer had come back to explain that the placings had been chosen incorrectly! He had won second place in the third class! He was given a two-toned ribbon and he walked with a much more enthusiastic step after this. That class just happened to be the one with the toughest competition, and he was instantly much happier. He felt overjoyed by his newfound success, yet he still was slightly bothered by the fact that he hadn't managed to get first place. Instantly, he came up with his goal for his second show, and as soon as he got home, he made a plan in his mind to train hard to win the first place ribbon, and even more so, to win the coveted title of 'Champion'.
