Name:
I Like The Eight-Track (It Takes Me Way Back) // Daisy Duke
Gender:
Mare
One Decoration/Item You'd Add To This Tolter:
A rainbow peace sign charm! Or a cassette tape charm! If that's alright.

Personality:
Daisy Duke is a laid-back mare. She likes cassettes, acupuncture, Hula girls (she has one sitting in her stable, and she pokes it with her nose to watch it bobble), and jumping beans. She has a pet rock, given to her by her owner, and when explaining something, she often pauses to ask, "Can you dig it?" Daisy Duke doesn't like competing, and would rather 'make love, not war'. She's all for peaceful relations and actively groups with other horses like her. She likes rainbows, star-gazing, and airports. She likes to sprint across the field without a halter (gasp!) when she can get away, though she usually returns rather meekly not too long later. She likes but doesn't quite get the technology of today, and still prefers old to new. She has the bad habit of eating mushrooms she finds and must be carefully watched, but she's very friendly. She's free-spirited, an 'all-natural' horse who can tolerate when others don't do things the way she does and accepts individual differences.
Halter Color:
Sepia and/or Rainbow ╔════════════════════════╗

══════════════════════════ Daisy Duke was a happy horse during the 1970s - a time with it's own joys and troubles like any other time. Her owners were those 'new aged' hippies, and she was often subjected to wearing fringed horse vest, headbands, rainbow colors, and eating strange so-called healthier foods. But she didn't mind; in fact, she loved it! It was exciting for her. Plus, she loved her two owners no matter where they took her or what they did. Sometimes they went out into the wilderness for months at a time, living off of the land and singing around the fire each night. Daisy Duke never had any problem with it. Other times they lived in cities, with Daisy Duke living in a backyard and walked down streets, despite the number of humans who yelled at her owners. Those times never lasted long, and they traveled a lot. Trinity, her girl-owner, would sometimes ride her alongside the big colorful van
for a few miles down the road. Sometimes it was was her boy-owner Rocky. Sometimes Daisy Duke was in the trailer. But either way, she was happy. That is, until they were staying up north. Her two humans went out and left her for the day. She heard many angry humans, saw what looked to be hundred of them from the cramped backyard, but their voices faded. Daisy Duke waited...and waited...and waited...but they did not come back. A group of humans found her, took her somewhere else, where she was vaccinated and dewormed for the first time (and hated it; she would have rather eaten the different herbs she was given). Daisy Duke was re-homed, and consequently began bouncing from home to home. She wondered what happened to Trinity and Rocky, and she later learned they were 'arrested', whatever that meant. Finally, finally, finally, years later, she was settled into a home, with other horses, and humans who stayed in one spot (which she didn't like but couldn't complain about). And finally, finally, she met and got to truly bond with other horses and people. The pang of missing her first humans began to fade over time, and she now is happy, again, though others call her a 'hipster'. Huh! She thinks of herself as pretty groovy.
