it was a warm, sunny day as a few vaikis sat outside in the field, napping or trying to catch brightly colored butterflies. a certain lime colored vaiki sat on a stump, claws clacking together as she threaded flowers together, face scrunched up with determination with her limbs decorated with necklaces of flowers, daisies and marigolds and many others. bright, lavender eyes looked up at the boiling sun, puffing her cheeks in annoyance she slid off and quickly ran with flora in her arms to the shade of the cherry blossom trees. wiping the sweat off her paws on her knees, chartreuse looked up at the familiar face of vernal, her lovely panicky brother.
"bubby!" she cheered, leaping up and latching onto his neck. the older vaiki chuckled softly, tail helping him balance from the weight of his sister. "making flower crowns again i see, how are those?" chartreuse hung them all around his cart, sometimes hitching a ride to a friends house or just spending time with him. their bond was close, two peas in a pod. she nodded vigorously, slipping a few off her wrist and onto vernal. he smiled.
"here, let me help you," he plopped down, his sister rolling off into the grass as he grabbed a handful of blue bells and started tying them together. "it goes faster if you do it this way, see?" the youngling watched carefully, mind clicking and remembering everything. "now you try," he handed her some roses, she copied him and squealed in delight after earning a praise of admiration from him.
"im gonna have a cart just like yours one day!" chartreuse cheered, getting up and twirling, petals flying all around them. "alright, alright." he whispered happily, gazing at his sister, eyes filled to the brim with pure joy.
