How do you relax?

"Relax?! I am not quite sure I relax much...but I suppose if i do at all... I like to sit out in the rain , or swim."

"Why is that? Because cool rain makes my frizzy hair un frizz, just as swimming does to me. I feel I connect with water really well, as it doesn't irritate me... like other people!"

Well, let's not into this subject too deep, as some people lack better judgement. I am your athletic, blunt honest working woman who doesn't need anyone to keep her a float, you hear? Yes,I do have some friends *How rude* and they suite me well. I would say one in particular contrasts me, but i like colors that shift from another. I am often perceived as pompous or thinks I am better then others.Not true, they just like to talk, and it's cheap! I am proud of my accomplishments and talents, but they were all earned and worked for. So, if you decide to delve deeper into knowing me, you may find a few blacks and blues on your way!

What do I do for a living?

I will have you know I was in the Olympics back in 2008! I was supporting the US team, of course. Won a gold and 2 silvers. Maybe not but much of a run, but not many can say they were even in the Olympics! I have been a personal trainer and instructor for people who both want to become athletes and ones whom have injuries that need are for. I'm not a doctor, but i have my bachelors in Hydrotherapy, so I have a license. Hm, sounds like I've done a lot I suppose...*Starts to glars at you to stop staring*

What was my childhood like?

Nothing too depressing or involving death. I mean, I did grow up pretty much by my dad. My mom had to stay in the hospital at least 4 days a week. She is being cared for an illness in her body that causes her almost complete paralysis at times. I believed they called it. Hypokalemic periodic paralysis. She is able to be at home now for almost everyday, but goes to check ups once every 2 weeks. They saw is hereditary, but as her only child, I am not an active holder of the illness. This being said, i too still need to take vitamins for potassium as it is low in my body naturally. But other then that, I am a-ok.

My dad's name is Elroy, my mom's being Catiline. Our last name is Erkens, which in Dutch means "ruler of the law". *Pretty cool, no?*

My childhood was revolved around my dad's work schedule, mom's appointments, and school. I worked hard to let my parents see I was alright. I didn't want them to worry, they had a lot of stress on themselves, I didn't need to add to it. I loved swimming ever since I got touch water, and was my dad's "water baby" who was the first in and last one out of the pool! I was in a swim team when i was 13 and went to camps and clubs involving it as i got older. Once out of high school, I got a grant to go to a school near where I lived in return for being in their swim team. The next thing I knew...I was here.

how do they relax;; emine doesn't simply relax. there's a whole lot of pacing and internal train of thought involved when she's trying to calm down from stress. she has a few bad habits of chewing her nails and digging her claws into things, which tends to help for a few moments, but when she notices all of the claw marks in her couch, she's even more distressed. the best she can do- which is a harmless attempt at calming, mind you- is go to her local grocery store and pick up a quart of birthday cake ice cream. she'll sit on the couch and watch glee reruns while eating from the container with a spoon. it takes off her mind off of things and helps her de-stress.

what's she caught up in? emine owns a green cheeked conure named broccoli who behaves rather well, but not when he's around her succulents, for whatever reason. she works as a wedding planner and is a rather prestigious one in her area, so it's rare she has down time; she decided on re-potting her succulents into cuter pots to fit the theme of her kitchen, but in flew broccoli, who began tampering with the succulents she wasn't paying specific attention to. as a result, he nudged one off of the counter and tipped another over with his powerful birdy headbutts. when emine bent down to pick up the spilled succulent on the floor, as well as fractals of broken ceramic, broccoli chirped and knocked another off, right onto her head. lovely!

Kiralynn works at a spa and working there she's learned a lot about how to really relax yourself. Kira is one who has worked at the spa for years and she knows the owner very well. Here she gets free treatments. She loves to get face masks and bathe in the mud spa tubs. It might sound weird and gross some people out but for Kiralynn it's relaxing. The mud is actually good for your skin you know. It releases the acids that have been placed there. Did you know cucumbers can take the circles out from under your eyes and help take away those red veins that creep in ? Those are just a few reasons Kiralynn feels relaxed and at home in the spa.
She's also relaxed when she gets her hair done. You see that tangled mess? Yeah that's hair. She hates what the humidity does to it. You see that frizz? It's because of the stupid humidity. She gets it fixed up every now and again and she seems to feel a little weight lifted off her shoulders.

work ;; well you already heard she was a salon worker. She works from seven to ten hours a day. Days are often busy at the salon and when they aren't Kiralynn is gossiping with either the hair stylists or the people who paint the nails.

hobbies ;; As for hobbies Kiralynn is a girly girl and she likes to dress up in her best clothes and take pictures of herself. She's also a talented nail artist, she's picked up a bit from the nail painters at the salon. Kira also likes to dance. She used to take ballet but she stopped doing that when she thought she was too old. Now she dances like a maniac, but only when no ones looking.

She's called vain a lot but the reason she expects the guy to always pay is because she thinks it tradition. She's always been raised to believe in general curtsy when it came to guys. personality;; Piper is usually a rather calm soul; always quiet and reserved, very peaceful. His philosophy is, funnily enough, "Hakuna Matata". Yes, like from The Lion King. He always tries to look on the brighter side of things, and does his best to make sure nothing brings him down. However, even he has bad days sometimes. Like right now, for instance. On those days, he sometimes lets this happy persona down and is antisocial and a bit rude. But he still tries his best to be happy. No matter what, he'll always look on the bright side of things and try to be optimistic about life. It'll all get better in time, right?

how do they relax;; Rather than listen to music, or take a relaxing spa day, Piper loves going fishing. He doesn't fish for food or anything; it's just a fun little hobby he picked up from his dad. Piper enjoys going out to the middle of the river he lives by in his little boat and just throwing his line in and waiting. He's accumulated a great deal of patience from this, and therefore is usually very calm and peaceful.
what happened;; Today started out like any other fishing day: calm, relaxing, and quiet, just like any other. Then, in the blink of an eye, things started going downhill fast. First, a terrible storm struck while he was out in the river; while going back to shore, his boat turned over, and down he went into the mud, ruining his fur and hair. Then, on his way back to his cabin, Piper's foot got caught in a rosebush, and he got prickers all over. So far, today is NOT a good day for him. But he won't let that ruin his good mood!
