first touch
I couldn't wait for him to arive. I stood watching the driveway, I couldn't stop smiling. I saw a trailer pull in I could see his nose poking out the side. i laughed. I pulled the blue halter off the hook with the black lead rope. The man said delivery for Kat. I said yes. He grabbed the halter and lead him out. All I could say was wow I can't believe he is mine. I will call him simba because of his big cat markings. The man lead him closer. I pulled out some of a carrot. He sniffed it and slowly ate it. I put out my hand for him to sniff. He put his head down low enough that I could reach. I slowly stroked his head and then moved around his body. The man held out his hand to hand me the lead. Oh sorry I said thank you. So I put him in the special stall I had been preparing for a month. It had automatic water. The pasture had lots of big trees for him to climb. That's where he could go during the day.

First saddle
I ordered a black and blue saddle for me to use on him. I tied him to the cross ties and tried To put it on but his adhd kicked in and he wouldn't stop moving. I finally got it on it fit perfectly. I was so happy. I lounged him for a little to get him used to it. Be bucked a few times then finally did perfect with everything on his back. I took it off and put him in the field. He ran to the tree and started playing in it. The next step was riding.

First ride
I woke up at 7:00 the next morning. I Was soooo excited to ride him. I slipped his halter over his head and lead him to the cross ties. I slid the saddle over his back and tightened the girth. I inhook the crossties and proceeded to the mounting block. I slid my foot in the stirrup and pulled myself up. As I sat down slowly he started to prance. I said whoaaaa then he slowed down. We walked down the hill and into the woods. There was a nice trail to walk along. As we walked along I was thinking if he could jump. So I troted him up to a small log. He jumped it perfectly. I went over it a few more times. I slowly got bigger. I cooked him out and gave him pats. I knew he would be a great jumper. I slip off and took the saddle off. I hosed him down and gave him food. I put him in the stall. I had added some reptile stickers. I said goodnight see you in the morning and turned out the lights.
