You'll definitely be seeing a lot more of me around plumies!!
I'm going through the design suggestions thread and this idea was way too fun to pass up. <3

This is kind of a design/contest that go together ; o ;

It's snowcone season, so maybe a snowcone plumerian? It'd be all white at first, and the contest would be to suggest a flavor/possibly something else to help judging. Then the winners flavor would be added to the design! If that makes sense.

Or just a snow cone plume in general, if the artist would prefer not to do a challenge like that.

To win them, just tell me what their favorite flavor/s of snowcone syrup are!! (up to 3, no more than that please!)
Feel free to explain why/link pictures/etc. Multiple people may use the same flavor, I'm mostly going off the explanation/idea!

Favorite flavor/s: Zack's two favorite flavors are kiwi and blue raspberry. When he was a kid, Zack was extremely picky about his food. When the fair came around once a year, his mother said he could go only if he promised to try one new food. Usually the experience ended with Zack forgetting the ordeal, but one year they agreed to try kiwi and blue raspberry. Zack still remembers his first look at it, he was very wary of the two unnatural colors sitting on the pile of ice. Yet, when he tried it he was amazed! The sour kiwi was perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the blue raspberry, and he nearly forgot about the now seemingly boring cherry. This became a tradition, which still carries on when Zack goes to any fair, but that experience sparked a love for all unique foods. Although, kiwi and blue raspberry will always hold a special place in his heart.

Favorite flavor/s: Some are addicted to sweets, from television and games, to sleeping, but he is addicted to... Cinnamon. Without a doubt he loves the flavour of cinnamon. He loves to add it to most dishes. Cinnamon ice cream, cake with cinnamon, donuts with cinnamon, compote with cinnamon, cookies with cinnamon, cinnamon flavored candies... Everywhere cinnamon! It follows from this that, he loves cinnamon. After all, trying not to overuse him, not to get sick. Often it is very difficult.

How did this happen? Incertus was spending almost all his free time with this granfather, because his parents were very busy. Plumerians usually brought a variety of delicacies with cinnamon. From him, he caught the love for this pastry. Unfortunately, his grandfather died. Now, as Ince eats the cinnamon it feels like he was with his grandfather. They are laughing, talking and spending time together... Again.

Darian has synesthesia, meaning that he automatically associates senses
together. In his case, he associates taste and hearing. When he experiences
a certain flavor, he connects it with a very specific word or sound. This is a
huge factor as to why his favorite combination of snow cone flavors is
rather... unconventional.
-The hot sauce technically isn't an actual snowcone flavor as it is an added
ingredient, but Darian doesn't really pay attention to that sort of thing. It
brings the very vivid but gentle word "bang" to his ears. It fizzles out and
then makes low popping noises afterwards.
-Grape is fluffy and tangy. The sound brought to him by it is the quiet plop
of rain as it hits a leaf.
-Cherry is the true key to why he enjoys the mix so much. It is rich with
sweetness, a cheer of pure emotion. It is an ovation of pride and excitement.

Altogether the flavors all come together, and Darian ends up hearing
something akin to a horse race during the rain. People shouting and
cheering, thudding hooves against softening ground, and the faint
patter of rain on everything.

Puakai was born by the ocean and for all his life, it was all he knew. In a tiny straw hut, he would spend his time weaving makeshift mats and dusting the walls at dawn before the day's work began. His father was a fisherman, selling his daily captures for profit at the market. Puakai has no memory of him, for his boat had capsized on the night of his birth. He wishes he could've known him better. When he had tried to ask, his mother only held him closer and whispered bittersweet lullabies. He never did ask again, the sadness in her eyes told him enough.

His mother, well, she ran a snow-cone stand. He'd remember sleeping on the floorboards atop a pile of blankets as his mother's nimble hands worked to shovel the shaved ice into paper cups. Tourists would visit the island often and as the climate would entail, they were often dehydrated. Rainbow arrays of pump bottles lined the shelves. He'd remembered each by name. Blue Raspberry. Red Cherry. Cotton Candy. But he'd always have his favorite three. Lemon-Lime. Piña Colada. Mango Strawberry. Puakai was fond of two-word names. He couldn't put his finger on the reason why but not everything had to have a reason. At least, that's what his mother told him.
