How he overcomes being half-deaf: Apache overcomes being half deaf by traveling with another herbivore at all times, whether it be a buffalo, horse, or deer. He keeps his companion on his deaf side and reacts based on their behavior. He's also pretty cautious, so on the rare occasion that he doesn't have a companion, he's always skittish and on the edge.

How he overcomes being half-deaf: Thanks to the help of a strange, yet very helpful companion, Aconite is able to go about his days without much of a hassle due to his lack of hearing in one ear. His little helper, is a Fox-eared Bat who goes by the name of Pythas. Now how exactly does a bat, a night creature, help out a mammal ten times his size during the day? Simple. They both help each other out. During the day, Aconite provides a personal shelter for Pythas, who will often nestle himself into the thick mohawk of white mane and travel with Aconite wherever he goes, and Pythas provides a helping ear with his echo-location. Now it might not make sense since Aconite is deaf in one ear, but his deaf ear is able to pick up the echo-location vibrations that Pythas releases, and therefore has adjusted that ear to be able to pick up the bat's sonar more precisely.

Whether that's exploring or watching the clouds roll by. Without music he feels empty and alone. The song he usually listens to most is Car radio
