Guardian Foxes are about the size of a full grown German Shepherd dog.
They have ears similar to those of a Fennec Fox, a species which
they are closely related to. They are given feathers, which are attached
to their tails, when they are born. Full grown Guardians typically have a
feather behind one or both of their ears.They are also born with a mist
surrounding their eyes, paws, and tails. This mist is used to capture a human's
dreams or nightmares.
Their soft coats can be any color or pattern. Pastel colors are most common,
they are often dual toned or even chimeric.

Bod and Shiro first met when Bod was
throwing glass pitchers at a tree. Shiro
was scared, which caused Bod to snicker
slightly. Considering Shiro is timid towards
danger, Shiro attempted to confront Bod,
but Bod only picked up a glass cup and aimed
it at Shiro. About to run off, Bod quickly
said, "Just kidding." Since then, Bod and Shiro
have been somewhat close friends, but Bod
remembers to never pick up a glass cup
around Shiro ever again.

Story:
Regret was originally born as a regular, cream guardian fox. But there was something that was considered odd. He couldn't build a single emotion. When something funny was blurted out, everyone at least chuckled except for him. He would keep a straight, expressionless face, which ruined some of the foxes' fun. It wasn't like he enjoyed being emotionless, in fact he hated it. He'd spend all of his free time to try and get a tear, a chuckle, anything. But instead, he was left with nothing. The worst thing about it was that when he did something, there was no regret. None at all. Has he done many bad choices? Of course. Did he care? Not at all. He couldn't care. It was absolutely impossible.

After causing trouble to hundreds of guardian foxes and the people he was supposed to care for, the fox decided he had enough. If he couldn't get a smile, a frown, or anything out of himself, he was going to force something that would permanently bring emotion to him.
Just a small pin was all it took. No one really knew the capability of a simple sewing pin, but this fox did. He had heard of something called a 'voodoo doll'. Even those things had a smile. So, if a doll could smile, why couldn't he? So lost in himself, the fox followed the rules towards this so called magic. One poke, and then everything would be finished. Hesitantly, the fox poked at the voodoo doll of himself, and expected the worst. But, when he opened his eyes, everything was the same. Or so he had thought. He blinked a couple of times, slowly heading towards the nearest mirror. He wasn't himself. He was the doll. He could smile, and at the time, he could cry and scream. Though it was a little terrifying to look at himself, at least he could feel.
If he was the doll, then where was he? He was his original size, not at all smaller. The doll was on the ground, but when the fox turned it around, he noticed it looked exactly like what he used to be. No stitches, no smile. No button eyes. Just a regular guardian fox.

Most would be 100% terrified, but the cream fox, now with the appearance of his own voodoo doll, just chuckled. He chuckled. He wanted to feel all of the emotions he missed out on. He cried before growing angry, and then felt the one thing he was aiming for- regret. Suddenly he felt like he wanted his original body back, but it was too late. Part of him continued feeling this way, while the other part was glad that he felt these things.
A couple weeks passed, and he realized something. He needed a new name, a new life. No one would really recognize him now. The first thing that came to mind was what he went with- Regret. He would keep this name, and his new style of life would be to make sure everyone else felt the same regret. In his opinion, having regret was a good thing, because you'd want something, feel something. So, Regret made his way around everyone he met, sprinkling the feelings of regret on them. No one see him, only if he wanted to be seen. It was one of those perks of being a little different.
