Persia adores flowers, and plants of all types. She enjoys them for many reasons- above all their sheer variety. There are so many, of many shapes and sizes, of different colors and textures. Some fragile as the delicate petals of a rose, others as hardy as the flowers blooming on cacti in the desert heat. Some a peaceful white, others vivid oranges and yellows.Flowers that represent symbolic in society- from love, to death, to friendship and congratulations. Above all, her favorite flowering plant is the almost holographic colors of the Persian shield originating on the island of Madagascar. She was not named Persia at birth, as her name was originally Saralynne. She felt it too feminine for her tastes, so she later changed it resemble her most adored garden member.
