➥"Caitlin!" My friend Lunar called, i turned around and looked at her. Lunar was a 14 year old Lyrist (somebody who plays the lyre). "Yes?" I spoke as i looked at her. Lunar smiled at me "Let go e-explore the forest!" she exclaimed. My eyes widen "V-Vat!?" Lunar giggled "Y-You heard me." she smirked and pointed to the forest near the school "L-Lets go explore." I sighed and nodded "Fine." We walked to the school and to the forest. Once we entered i had an uneasy feeling, I ignored it and followed Lunar. Once we were deep in the forest, she began to run. Unable to keep up I soon lost her. "LUNAR VERE IS YOU GO?!" I called out. I heard a menacing chuckled "Why look for her little one? She just got you into trouble after all." I saw a strange man jump down from a tree. He held two hatchets, He wore orange goggles and a mask. He twitched and his body released a tick sound. He laughed and threw one of his hatchets, i quickly try to dodge. The hatchet landed in the tree behind me. I quickly get to my feet and began to ran, He smirked "YOU CAN'T RUN FROM ME!" he yelled. I ignored him and kept running as fast as i could, not seeing the tree root sticking out of the ground, I tripped and fell. The man walked up to me, an insane look on his face. He held up his last hatchet and swung down, I braced for the impact but it never came. I looked up and noticed somebody was standing in front of me. They looked at me with a smile, i saw that it was Lunar. She had taken the hit to her arm. I backed up some and watched as The Man took the hatchet out of her arm growling. Lunar smirked and ran to me, she picked me up and ran away from him. "Vho vas that?" I asked, She kept running "My b-brother." she answered. Lunar's brother chased after us until we ran out of the forest, then he stopped and walked deeper into the forest. Lunar put me down and caught her breath, I saw how much her arm has bled. I tore off some of my jeans and wrapped her arm then applied pressure. Lunar smiled at me "T-Thanks Cait." I nodded "I should be the one thanking you." I declared with a small smile. Together we walked to the hospital for Lunar's wound. "And vat vas the scariest day of my life." I said as i looked at my class, they all clapped I smiled and bowed before returning to my desk and sitting down.
