How the Spider & Deerssert met: Before meeting Stix, Trixie preferred to be by herself, only venturing out to play pranks or go in solo adventures. Though she didn't admit it, Trixie was a little only though because she never has someone to share the fun with. Stix had been keeping his eye on Trixie, watching her pranks for a while, wanting to introduce himself but he was similar to Trixie, he had always preferred to be by himself so wasn't sure how to introduce himself. Finally he plucked up the courage on the eve of Halloween and gave Trixie the idea for a perfect Halloween Prank, and after that, the two of them became inseparable partners in crime.

How the Spider & Deerssert met: Darcy stumbled upon
her in a tour through a chocolate shop; the owner was
sweeping her nest - and her eggs - away because they
were infesting the chocolate and scaring away customers.
He very quickly rescued her and fled from the shop with
her, and she remained attached to him from that point
on. She will often hide in his hair, leaving caramel
streaks, because she is afraid of most other deer.

Personality: Darcy has the layers of a chocolate cake. The icing, sweet as can be, charms people with the illusion of pure sugar and divinity. He's friendly, outgoing, passionate, and smooth in all devices. He knows how to get what he wants but he needs not manipulate much, as people simply give in to the temptation from his cheerful exterior. The second layer, just below the icing, is a mellow, slightly icing-soaked texture. He's more reserved in this layer, whimsical and thoughtful, less of a leader and more one simply to go with the flow of things. The last layer, however, is the darkest - it is the core that has all the festering thoughts and vicious insecurities locked within it. It is where his lack of faith in people lies, where the ideas of deceit and the paranoia flourish. None of these layers are facades; they are all pieces of who he really is, but they are not the whole cake together. Taking a bite of one with overdose you, whether it be the icing, the top of the cake, or the bottom. It could be the kindness, the apathy, or the venom that brings you down, which is why all three should be ingested at once to fully perceive who Darcy is.

Occupation: Most would expect Darcy, being the delectable and cake-like entity that he is, to have some manner of work in the chocolate compositions or sweets of any kind. His talents are quite the opposite - he can barely boil water without setting it aflame, even if it does defy the laws of physics and matter. Instead, Darcy's layered personality makes it quite easy to slip into whatever role is discovered to be best in the eyes of others. If you were guessing actor, that would be correct in every endeavor. Charlotte is actually helpful in this career, helping him spin a web of facades in the numerous characters he portrays, or to use her caramel-stringing skills to help the costume designer create dazzling outfits for the movie's full cast.

Stylist is a very soft spoken and kind individual.
With a shy nature about him it is not very often
that he likes to get very social and much prefers
the darkness of solitude as then he doesn't have
to worry about the stress and anxiety that can
often hit him while conversing or interacting with

guy that gets upset easily when things are new
or difficult. Under all his worrying and childish
nature Stylist is a very gentle and understanding
Deerssert that is very adept at listening to other's
problems but only whenever they are expressed
over some sort of media that doesn't involve
physical contact or presence.

...................................................[how they met]
As a shy deerssert Stylist doesn't often leave the
comfort of his home, often finding that he can
have everything he needs delivered to his home
or that he can pay to have someone bring it to
him if the company will not. Because of this his
house is his haven and he knows every inch of it.
Stylist first noticed the small differences in his
home's appearance as the corner of the ceiling
in each room became dusted with a fine layering
of webs. Intrigued he went to track down the
small critter that was the source of the stuff
and eventually found a small and terrified Ditzy
stuck in a puddle of water that was in some
forgotten cup. Although he wasn't much of one
for company Stylist felt pity for the small brown
spider and helped him out of the water. After
that they became each other's only source of
comfort and acceptance.

Ami is what many would call a weakling. A sad, vulnerable deer. He is shy, nerdy, and ever so anxious of the world around him. He's the one kid at lunch nobody sits with. He's a socially awkward boy, who hasn't quite found his voice. Despite this, he's probably one of the most positive, happy-go-lucky beings out there. Sure he may not have a lot of friends, and he may not be considered "cool" or "popular," but those things don't matter! Social status doesn't matter! What matters is his opinion and his opinion only. He thinks himself to be an alright guy, once you get past his nerves. He's sweet, funny, and a wee bit dorky, and he loves that about himself. Ami is the type of deer to trip over air and laugh at himself, rather than feel embarrassed. He's the type of deer who will cry when he's upset, and pout when things don't go his way. He's a little bit of a child, but you'll never meet someone with more self-confidence than him. He takes pride in being able to share his emotions and being able to stay happy when things get rough. If you ever needed some soul-searching help, he's the guy you'd want to go to.

You know how most people think of spiders as vile, awful creatures who spawned from the deepest darkest pits of Earth's crevices? Well Sammy's a tad bit like that: what everyone would expect. He's a grumpy, rude little spider who's bite is probably as bad as his bark. Sammy doesn't enjoy the idea of making friends, so he's pretty much taken to doing whatever he wants, whenever he wants, regardless if it's upsetting to others. You don't want to find a large spider on your pillow? Well, guess where Sam's waiting... Yup. He's that kind of spider, the kind that knows he's big and scary and will gladly frighten everyone for his own amusement. Of course this behavior can be considered sadistic to some degree, taking pleasure in the fear of others; maybe even suicidal, seeing as he is risking being squashed every time he pulls a stunt like that... but he honestly doesn't care. That's the issue with Sammy, is he's virtually emotionless. He's managed to shut off the part of his brain that relays normal, functioning emotions and feelings, and it's actually rather terrifying to think about. Due to this completely abnormal behavior, he is a fairly negative being, who feels like he's spent his whole life in Limbo: never in heaven or hell, just a confined space of agony in between.


☓ ｂｕｔ ｔｈａｔ'ｓ ｏｋａｙ ☓

First Encounter;;
By now you must be wondering, how in the world did these two ever come together? The ray of sunshine that is Ami, and the perpetually grumpy ball of spite that is Sam?

As stated above, Sammy takes joy in what he would call "harmless pranking." And once upon a time, the care-free spider found himself outside, just as a storm began to roll in. Spiders and rain don't exactly mix, as the sing-a-long "The Itsy-Bitsy Spider" has taught us, and Sam doesn't exactly have a home. He just wanders wherever he wants; stows himself away in a random home, lives off of their food and fear, then leaves.

Knowing he had to get out of the storm, Sammy crawled into a single-story home in the suburbs he'd been passing through. The house was warm, smelled of fresh-baked sweets, and was definitely more inviting than the rainstorm that had taken over the outdoors. So he figured he'd scope out the place, find some good scaring spots, and some hiding spots. He made his way through the quiet home, oblivious to the shivering deerssert who'd just walked through the front door. As he went about exploring, Ami made his way into his bedroom to dry off. How neither one noticed the other, I'll never understand.

Sam had managed to procure himself a rather cozy hiding place in the kitchen, just out of sight, yet within reach of food and water whenever he needed it. There, he'd spin himself a temporary web, where he'd rest easy when he was ready to sleep. On the other side of the home, Ami had just finished drying off, and was pretty tired from his late-night classes at the community college. He figured he'd make himself a quick meal, then hit the books and finish whatever homework he hadn't already done. And that was that. He prepared a fresh spring salad, with homemade banana bread on the side, then retired to his room for the night, where he'd fall asleep doing his homework, as usual. What he had failed to notice during all of this, was the large spider who'd crawled out of hiding, in hopes to scare off the deer and steal the dinner he'd made.

Not at all pleased with having to scrounge up his own food, or being ignored, Sammy decided the deer would soon face his wrath. He crawled about, gathering whatever crumbs the deer had left behind, and made a meal out of those. Once finished, he had to make a decision: pull off a late-night scare, or get some much-needed sleep? He made the obvious choice, and found himself in the deerssert's room half an hour later. By the time he'd managed to crawl to the opposite side of the house, the deer was fast asleep, face-first in a physics book. "Perfect. Like a sitting duck." It was all too easy, really. Sammy crawled onto the bed, and onto the open pages of Ami's book, where he'd end up sleeping for the night.

When morning came, and the deerssert began to stir, Sam was on the alert and ready to scare. He sat in position, wait for it, wait for it... And when the deer opened his eyes, he was greeted with a most unpleasant surprise. "BOO!" The spider yelled, causing the half-awake deer to jump in fright, and back up so fast he fell of the bed. Sammy, all too pleased with this reaction fell over in a fit of laughter, and Ami, trying to stand on wobbly legs, let out a groan of both pain, and frustration. He rubbed his head, and glanced down to the spider who'd begun choking from laughing so hard. "Haha, g-glad to know one of us enjoyed that." And he reached to shut the book on the spider, but stopped himself short, for who knows what reason. Maybe he's honestly too nice for his own good, or maybe he didn't want spider guts all over his expensive physics book, but he didn't squish the spider.

What happened after that is a long tale of pitiful fighting, name-calling, and a blur of other things. These two opposites have learned to live together and balance one another out in nearly perfect harmony. It was a wild ride to begin with, but neither can say they regret it.
