"Mama, what are these?"
Neo motioned towards one of his feathers.
His mother replied, "They're your feathers, Neo!"
"Are Plumerians the only ones who have feathers?" inquired Neo, feeling confused.
"No. Some animals who fly have feathers. Sometimes you can find their old feathers on the ground!" His mother gently picked something up off of the ground. It was a feather, and much duller than Neo's feathers. It was slightly bent.
"Shouldn't we return it? I bet the birds are all trying to find it!" Neo said solemnly, looking at his mother.
"Birds' feathers grow back, so they don't need them." His mother nudged the feather towards him. "Here."
Neo decided that he would keep any feathers he found, in case a bird came looking for theirs after all.

Neo smiled, looking back on the memory. His other childhood collections had gradually disappeared. But these feathers made him sentimental-reminding him of childish dreams and innocence.
When birds passed through Neo's Plumerian community they would always be directed to his dwelling, and he would present them with a random feather. When any jungle birds passed through they would humbly accept his gift, whether it was extravagant and rare or small and plain.
However, a space was always reserved for Neo's first feather. The feather was a mottled brown, and did not look quite so big as it had all those years ago. However, Neo kept it just the same, and considered it the bird's gift to him.

She squinted, evaluating the reflection that stared back at her. Gently, Acacia huffed, and allowed herself a small smile. Unknowingly nodding in approval at the way that pattern complimented her fur, she turned to her closet, unwrapping the scarf from her neck and scanning the grand array of colorful cloth that lay in heaps in shelves in front of herself.
Acacia brushed her fingers over the different textures of fabric in front of her. Deep in thought on which scarf to try on for the hundredth time, her hand stopped on the one navy blue knit scarf. It seemed old; several loose threads, the color fading. To anyone else, this would just be an ordinary, simple scarf, and they wouldn`t think anything of it. To Acacia, this particular scarf held more memories than the fullest family photo book you could find. Thoughts of her mother came flooding in from the back of her mind. She sighed, remembering sitting on her mother`s lap as she watched her knit various things; Acacia`s favourite being the gorgeous scarves.
She smiled and took it gently from it`s place on her shelf, stepping slowly out in front of her mirror and wrapping the grungy fabric around her neck, a warmth spread through her. After a short pause, Acacia gave a brisk nod to her reflection; yes, this was the one she would wear today.

Acacia collects scarves because she tends to get cold when not wearing one, and they bring back memories of her mother.

What does this Plumie love to collect and why?; Old vintage music boxes, He love how every music box makes different sounds. How some have ballerinas, plumies, and more. He loves how they display their looks in unique ways that he couldn't imagine. When he listens to their music he just can't help but dance. He often goes to yard sells looking for more and when he finds one he quickly opens it and starts to dance.

I've found myself collecting fabrics for the last 6 years. I am a fashion designer, so it's probably normal. I've gone around the world, picking up the smallest threads of fabric I can get my paws on. I have an entire room in my house dedicated to all my fabric, my closets are also overflowing with fabric! My favorite type is silk. The glossy and shiny appearance and smooth soft texture just makes me want to cuddle with it all day. I've grown addicted to collecting fabrics, as they are now an important piece in my life. I enjoy them, and I hope to see my fashion career fly thanks to my fabric collection.

What does this Plumie love to collect and why? (limit 250 words); Jera likes to collect pieces of rubbish - ones she can find on the ground, or anywhere really, as long as it isn't in a bin. She likes to take these home, and she likes to put them on a huge piece of cardboard. She does this, puts a heading on it and then heads to the city. She does this to support others to stop littering, and to care for all the different creatures that may be affected by this, and how the earth is effected, not just how themselves will end up. She does it to educate people, so hopefully one day the world will be a cleaner place, and all the lovely creatures will be able to live in peace without worrying about pieces of trash.

What does this Plumie love to collect and why? (limit 250 words); Mirjana collects keyboard keys, which she has always had a fascination with since a broken down computer she found outside of her house had very loose keys. She holds them in a bag, and when she meets a human, she puts the bag down in front of them. The humans likely know what to do with the keys, spelling out messages. She responds with movements, since she cannot seem to order the keys in the correct way herself. She only does this when she meets a human she feels she can truly understand. She ties the bag around her tail and collects new ones when she loses a letter or she becomes intrigued with a new symbol she has never seen before. She has collected so far every letter except q, and the numbers 1, 7, and 4, as well as a few miscellanious symbols. She longs to find another 'caps lock' key, which she lost long ago.

What does this Plumie love to collect and why?;

Vin sat down on the curb *Click* *Click *Click* his camera flashed about a dozen times, he was taking pictures for a magazine. Looking up to see the large scale model of the Egyptian Spinx in front of him. This was his last shoot of the day, with a sigh he got on his feet and headed to the local shop. Gabbing a water he turned around and looked through a rack of postcards, he grabbed a few then a few more. After he had fifteen or twenty he paid for them and the water and slipped them in his satchel. After a few stores he made his way home. Back at the hotel room he unloaded his bag; camera, postcards, camera accessories, and a binder. Flipping the binder open he slipped roughly 46 new postcards in the selves, he smiled and spent an hour flipping through the 1200 cards he had. When he got back home he would surly add these to the collections he had back home.

What does this Plumie love to collect and why? (limit 250 words);
Iggy being both the music lover and history nerd she is has drawn her love to collecting a vast amount of Records, from 45's to full albums. She collects it all, from the Beatles and the Beach Boys to newer music such as Paramore and Fall out boy. She also loves to take her records to her classes, showing her Rock and Roll history students all the records and her record players. It all started when she started teaching rock and roll history and noticed many of her students never seen a record, this lead her in buying a couple and also decided to play them while there was group work. As more and more students started asking for different artist and even bring in some as gifts her small collection continued to grow. She never intended to collect them until she started going out of her way to find collector albums and even different colored vinyls such the purple see throw record by Deep purple that she now cherished today. She loves to share them with her students and talk about her collection with others that happen to have some as well. She is always on the look out for new ones or unique once from the past as well.
