I am so sorry for the delay on this, I figured I should post a cover so I don't delay you guys any further! I do have a plan for this - not givin out any hints though! |D - but I keep attempting it and can't get it quite right xD I promise I'll be doing my best to get it done soon though!

50000 YEARS LATER

Here's Plumerian #500! Oh my gosh I can't believe we've reached this crazy point before plumes have even had their first birthday! Wow wow wow!


They are based off lightning/technology/circuit boards/what have you xD They are also the first plumerian with feather edits! (lightning bolts !!)
Other edits include their hair; long ears; long tail; and their wings! Parts of them also fade off into floating pixels, though they have have solid form too. (here!) They can control small amounts of electricity, and their fur is very conductive, sometimes shocking those that touch it! Their electric-control also makes them an expert at hacking, I'd imagine.
They're immortal -- or at least, they can't seem to be killed. No one's quite sure if they're actually alive in the first place though ....

Now, for the contest!
I've gotten lots of complaints about how long I've taken to judge contests in the past, cause it takes me forever to read big chunks of text, so I'll be setting specific limits for this one~

Art is unlimited, but the word limit is 750! No going over whatsoever, so make every word count to develop the character! I'm also interested in seeing some character development/info expressed through the art, instead of just standard standing poses xD Art can be made by you or ordered!

Coding/prettying is allowed but won't really affect your chances. Text in links/coding doesn't count towards the word limit. Quotes/song lyrics/section titles/words written on images DO count, so keep track!

Personality

Dante's over protective of those that he holds close, mainly because he has so few people in his social circle. Short-tempered and impulsive, he will not hesitate to give a good old knuckle sandwich to those who hurt him or his friends. The majority of the time when it comes to talking to strangers he will act cold and aloof, rarely being nice and kind to them. He does this to leave an impression on the others; to get them to fear what may happen if they happen to upset or anger him in one way or another. Because of this he tends to keep his distance from those who may tick him off and he can be found on the shores of the digital sea. This vast sea tends to calm him down if he needs to let off steam; he simply watches the data float on by; texts people send each other, high scores from video games, and even music that had been lost in the ocean of hits that we have today. In his calm state, Dante forgets the old and strives to make himself better, a more updated model of himself. It always feels as though there's something missing in his heart, however.

Story

Dante; the cyber sweeper. He lives to keep his digital world clean and safe from all those who may bring it harm. If you try to stop him, be warned; he doesn't let anything go without a fight or a brawl. Most of the time he only has to fight low-lifes, people who just want to fight for sport, or people who are only a thorn in his paw. But other times, he comes across people who can be a real bother with a mischievous plan to take over the digital networks around him. Whenever he comes across these types of people, he will stop at nothing until he knows for sure they're stopped for good. But then again, that's just like Dante; he always likes to be blunt and get stuff done then and there. He's always had to been. When it comes to ridding the world of crime, you can't let things get to you; if you had a friend who committed a crime you have to deal with them one way or another. This is why he rarely shows his emotions to anyone; he doesn't want anyone getting close enough to him to mean more than his job. Dante lives far away from the town; it's his little get away from all the chaos that he surrounds himself with. After all, one can only fight for so long before they need to rest.

First Mission:
We were going out to put a end to some of the bandits that have been raiding the all the villages in the surrounding area and we were told that they may be to powerful for Aurum and I. I didn't listen. I know Aurum's a healer and she wouldn't let me go down so easily without her helping me. It started as a any normal mission we get; Blindingly bright, most in the air. It would rain in a few hours or less. I found my partner waiting for me at one the small checkpoints that was placed through out the woods are hunts that are used for various reasons. We took many of the shorten routes to get to our destination and we always kept a lookout for small mounds as we knew our enemies used it for cover. It took three days to clear out the first town and making sure everyone was okay. It was going to be a long, long process. There were many other towns hit and to only have Aurum heal them all of their wounds would take a donkeys age. This will most certainly be the longest mission her and I have been on for years to come.

Second Mission - Aurum and I were put on a search party for the Mayor of our Village. Unfortunately she ended up lost in the Dark Woods, but we were told to bring her home safe and sound or get demoted. That never sounded good. It took us one week to find her. She was surrounded by bandits. We took care of them before rescuing her.
