Yes this was a vent design but I don't want to talk about it okay the only reason I'm adopting out this Guardian is because there aren't enough adoptable ones out right now.
Anyways this design is kinda depressing except it's not because the orange mist and feathers represent the Guardian's fight. A fire still burns inside it and s/he is determined to be happy one day and right every wrong.
I'm telling you this Guardian's favorite song (it's one of mine too c:) and I want you guys to listen to it and tell me why this Guardian likes it... And maybe even what the song reminds the Guardian of....
Prettying Up: No
Extras: No
End Date: Whenever I darn well feel like... Probably when I find an entry that I really like >~<

Theme Song: Hero by Family of the Year
Why?: Because once his friend grows up and doesn't need a hero anymore, he can be free. The song reminds him of when he used to run through dreams, without a care in the world. Without so much responsibility and worry and regret.
What is His/Her Biggest Regret?: Hurting his friend and making him/her dependent.
What is His/Her Biggest Dream?: To run free through dreams again, without the paranoia of something going wrong again.
What is His/Her Favorite Memory?: Entering his friend's dream, chasing him/her playfully, running all around, jumping from place to place, the night before everything went wrong.
Edit:
Did I do everything right? I've never adopted an Oekaki character before, or any character for that matter.
Okay, here's the story I came up with.
He had a friend, female, who was his best friend for as long as he could remember, although they were still only adolescents. They used to play in their dreams, were they could create their own world. Their favorite thing to do was run on the great plains they created. As they ran, they would create flowers that only existed in their minds. In their waking life, they would still run, but not as much as it would disturb those around them. But one night, in the boy's dream, as they ran, his dream became a nightmare. The grass disappeared, giving way to the earth beneath. A fissure split the ground between them and they began to separate. The girl told him to wake up, that there was something wrong, but the boy only tried to fix the dream. He thought he was losing control of his mind. It had happened before. He had nightmares before that he couldn't control. Why was this any different? As he tried to control his dream, trees faded in and out of sight, grass seemed to flow across the ground as it grew and disappeared. Flowers rose up, decayed, and disintegrated. He couldn't control his nightmare again. The girl continued to shout out at him to wake up, and as he pulled out of his dream, something caught his eye. As he became more aware of his waking surroundings, one of the trees of the forest came into view, right above the girl. It was falling toward both of them. The girl had dragged herself out of the dream, but only to be caught in sleep paralysis. She had been totally aware of the tree and the earthquake, but she couldn't move. The boy finally woke up and tried to move the girl, who had been by his side the whole time. But the trunk of the tree still landed on her, smashing her legs. The earthquake then faded. They had been alone in these parts of the forest. The boy couldn't move the tree on his own. At first he tried to drag her out from under it, but she only shrieked in agony. So he dug under her. It was dawn by the time he dug deep enough to move her. Of course, she couldn't walk. She hasn't been able to since that day. After that her parents thought she was hopeless and abandoned her. So the boy tried to take her in. The boy's parents wanted nothing to do with her, either, and said that if he wanted to take care of her, then so be it. They would support him, but not the girl. He was on his own with that. And so he did. A few months later, his parents decided he was old enough to fend for himself and left him with his still disabled friend. He was able to support her as well as himself, but not easily. Thank goodness spring is on its way. This winter had been especially harsh. The girl has been getting more and more depressed, and is is even struggling in her dreams. She's forgetting what it's like to walk and is having difficulty keeping her dreams happy. Their dreams are the only things that seem to be happy anymore, and now those are starting to fade. They had one vision, a long time ago, that showed her walking again, but it's getting harder and harder for them to believe anymore. Sometimes the girl tells him to abandon her and just move on with his life, but he keeps clinging to the hope that she has lost. The guilt of not waking up in time has also kept him tied to her. So he supports her in every way he can. Some days, when he can get enough food and has spare time, he'll encourage her to walk, as she can still move her front legs. Her hind legs still have a long way to go before she can put weight on them, though. And they both know she'll never walk quite right again, but at least she has feeling in her feet.
