RVEC #93 - Black Tennessee Walker

Postby SydneyandStorm » Sun Mar 01, 2015 6:49 am

I know this seems like a really lazy way out of having to put a lot of work into a horse (doing one with no markings), but when I looked online for TWH inspiration, most black horses didn't have any white markings, so I guess it's just pretty desired within the breed.

This boy is a rescue, saved from a situation in which he was badly sored. His sensitive attitude has made him more emotionally affected by it than some of his fellow rescues, so he'll need a particularly loving hand to help him trust humans once more.

As with all rescues, FCFS, but out of the many TWHs I'm going to release, you may only rescue up to three. Just keep that in mind ^^

First of all, I'd like to apologise for not replying sooner. You are absolutely amazing, I really appreciate the effort which you have put into the sim. Thank you so much for creating two new Tennessee Walking horses, it really means a lot to me that you took my suggestion on board so quickly. As for Préachán himself, he is just gorgeous! He fits his name perfectly, as Préachán means crow. I find that his appearance reminds me of a sleek rook or a raven. I absolutely adore him and find him to be a stunning horse. I am going to make his discipline cross-country, as I believe that he has the potential to do very well in it, once he learns to trust humans and tack again. I'm considering making a thread to write some short stories about the goings on at Sionnach Stables; I have a little image of it in my head that I would like to communicate and, after going to the lengths of giving my horses detailed personalities, I feel that it would be a shame if I didn't write about them. Anyway, I'm sorry for all my rambling and, just to make it clear, I would like to make Préachán's discipline cross-country.

Oh goodness, HeroHorse, that reply made my day <333 Thank you so much! I've finally finished the TWH braids, so now I can create more walkers -- yay! But I'm so glad you like him so much and I so appreciate that kind comment c:

I'll go set that ASAP!

You're very welcome! May I please train Préachán?

Thanks for letting me train him, and Solas too. By the way (I use that phrase a lot, don't I?), will the points a horse earns during training have any influence on the stats of their foals? I'm just curious.

Aha, no worries ^^

No, it does not c: I haven't looked too much into that aspect of breeding, but it seems so me that if horses bred better foals as they received more and more training, prized stallions and mares wouldn't spend so much time being sheltered and would have people spending time training them day in and day out. So from what I've understood (from my limited research), training shouldn't affect the foals and therefore doesn't in RVEC <3

This Stallion is absolutely stunning. Will he be up for breeding or will be not be breeding.
There he stood. His eyes so blue. His paws digging into the ground. His heart beats; as if thunder raced with him. His soul still searches. Yet is past is so broken. How can a wolf like him still find the strength to move on?
