Show Name: Jazz Hands
Name: Jazzy
Halter Color: blue
Age: 4
Short Story: It was a cold, particularly snowy day, and Jazzy hadn't seen his rider yet. The young woman who owned him had come every day since he was a yearling, and It was peculiar that she wasn't there. The stallion couldn't take it, he jumped the pasture fence and went out to search for his missing rider. The poor horse soon realized that icy roads and hooves don't mix, so he stayed on the side and trudged forward in the thickening snow. He occasionally curled his lip over his nose in an effort to hopefully catch his rider's scent, and after about half an hour, he had. Jazzy followed it until he found something he recognized, his owner's blue truck. The vehicle had skidded from the road and into a tree. Jazzy pawed at the driver's side door until his shoe caught and pulled it open. He found his owner inside, unconscious and with a trickle of blood down her temple, but alive. The stallion pulled his owner from the wreck before giving a trumpeting call and laying down next to her, to share his body heat. The people on the ranch a few miles over heard his cry for help and sent someone to investigate, once found, Jazzy's owner was sent to the hospital and Jazzy was taken home.

Show Name: Mark My Word
Name: Legend
Halter Color: same blue as his eyes
Age: 7 years
Short Story:
Legend had never been an overly brave guy, in fact he is actually quite skittish and unpredictable. so the fact that he saved my life was less then expected. I had taken him out alone like i had always been told i shouldn't. He gawked at every shadow and started at every bird that flew up out of the grass. But I didn't really mind much, not until we came to the river. I had ridden this way many times on other horses but never on Legend. The bridge over the rive had been their for ages and had always been a reliable way across the roaring rapids. But today is would fail me.

Legend was much keener then I was to the decay and danger of the old wooden bridge. the moment his hooves first met the old wood and the hollow thump of his shoes echoed out over the tumbling water he snorted and shied back. But i was persisted and; bless his sole. The pool guy tried to do my biding. One step, two steps, three, four. It was when his full weight came onto the bridge that it let out a aching moan and i felt the boards lurch beneath us. the wooden boards gave way from beneath us and we where sent tumbling through the floor into the freezing waters that lay beneath.

I was thrown from the saddle and downstream of him. I chocked and sputtered on water as i struggled to keep my head above the water. I knew i was in trouble. the current was too strong for me to get my footing and only a few meters behind me was a drop off in the sandbar where the river became very deep and deadly. I yelled for help fumbling madly to get a footing. I had lost sight of Legend altogether knowing he would have ran. my foot slipped off of the feet of the droop and i found myself completely at the mercy of the hungry river.

Just when the cold was starting to sap the last ounces of strength from my limbs and i had almost given up hope i heard a shrill cry. Legend pale nose brushed against my cheek. i could see only his head and a small portion of his neck. but he was clearly swimming. I twined my fingers in his mane and tried my best not to drag him under. I could feel the powerful thrusts of his hooves mere inches from me in the water but he didn't strike me. he was a much better swimmer and managed to pull both of us out of the current and to the bank of the river where we both took a moment to catch our breaths and warm out wet coats. But the point is that we were both out and safe.

Show Name: Emperor Erebus
Name: Erebus
Halter Color: Navy Blue
Age: 9 years
Short Story:
Ever since a young age, Erebus has always loved jumping. He's done it no matter the temperature, or the day, and each jump he cleared still lived in his memory. From the tiny cross rail he jumped alongside his mother to higher jumps he's worked on with trainers, they're all perfect, crystalized events he holds dear. And his owner? He loves her too, and she loves jumping as much as he does, even if that seems implausible. But unfortunately his owner is young, experienced, but still young. And you can only have so much experience when you're fifteen years old.

But another thing about his rider is that she's always been reckless to an extent, she's always pushed her limits and most of the time she can do things she thought she couldn't. Sometimes isn't good enough though. They were on a trail ride and it was the first nice day after a severe thunderstorm, which had knocked down many trees through the popular trail riding forest. Erebus was content to stick to the field and to just run with his owner, however his owned was feeling particularly daring today, and instead steered him towards the forest trail entrance, which was blocked by a fallen tree. Erebus was dubious, knowing that he could clear the jump fine, it wasn't all that large, but he wasn't so sure about his rider's ability. Turns out he had a right to be dubious in the end.

They headed towards the jump and when he kicked off the ground, he felt pressure lift from his back and heard a sickening thud of something falling off the side and smacking against the log before hitting the ground. Erebus completely the jump and swung his head around to see his beloved rider still on the other side of the log, obviously unconscious. It didn't take long for him to get into action, and knowing that jumping back across the log to get the farm would be risky in case his landing was off, he chose instead to head deeper into the forest. He didn't know if anyone was out here or not, but if they were? He would find them. It took him nearly thirty minutes to come across a secluded ranch house, and he led the man back to his owner. Turns out she wasn't severely injured, but the man did save her life.

Or maybe Erebus did, but he's always been humble.

        Show Name: Zero The Hero
        Name: Hero
Halter Color: gold with golden clasps
        Age: seven
Short Story: As the snow came down in bucketfuls and the wind screamed and howled loudly, Hero stood, coat layered with snow and mane frozen into icicles, in his pasture. Neighing in delight as he was led back into the warm barn by the owner of the grounds and fitted with a blanket. Hero listened as the girl promised to return to him with a treat and watched with bored eyes as the girl left and he was once more alone. Not that the skittish horse minded much. As seconds turned to minutes and minutes turned to hours with no sign of the girl, he began to worry. After a fear filled three hours, Hero flipped his stall lock and ventured once more into the white out. The snow now began at his chest and he had to leap with every step just to get though. The cold burned his skin and the wind nearly knocked the small stallion down. As a small cry for help hit his ears, Hero plunged after the fading noise. At last he reached the girl. She was shivering madly and practically looked blue. Because of the rattling wind a tree had uprooted and fallen on the girl's leg. Panicking, Hero began screaming almost as wild as the wind as he tried to keep the girl from freezing to death using his body heat and blanket. Luckily his cries were heard by one of the stable hands who quickly dialled for help. To this day, Hero is one of the favorites of the stable because of what he did that unfaithful day. And he did, in the end, get his treat.
long ago you forgot i existed.. keep it that way..

Eye Color: blue
Dam: Feathered Flying
Sire: Rushing Rivers\
Story: A tornado was behind them. North galloped with all his strength. His rider terrified, looking back. She was stunned how a regular outdoor show could turn to ruin in the matter of second. North shimmied to get the attention of his rider before he soared over a hedge. The rider than gathered her courage and picked back up the reins. She lead North to the nearest largest under group tornado shelter she knew. The shelter was s on the side of a high school. This shelter was big. Big enough to hold all the students in that building when the tornado hit. She stopped her amazing stallion and quickly hopped off. Storm followed his rider down the ramp and into the safe place. The older student then shut the door behind them. All the children were shocked that there was a horse in the tornado shelter. Though, at last they were safe.
