Lelo dashed after the rabbit, sending piles of snow flying behind her. She was gaining, gaining, and gaining when wam! She shook her head and looked ahead of her. A oak tree stood in front of her, daring her to smash into it again. She snorted and trotted towards a burrow nearby. The rabbit's scent was smothered all over it, but was quite distant. She gave up and started walking back home towards her kennel. She passes the oak tree and noticed a small stream. Normally, she would of walked on, but a silver figure jumped clear out of the water and she paused curiously. She padded down to the water's edge. The water was crowded with silver fish. Lelo wagged her tail. She would yet return game less. With a flash of her teeth, she snapped up a huge fish. She gobbled down the scales and all and began to return to her kennel, satisfied. The next day, Lelo returned to the stream. It was even more packed then the day before. Yipping in delight she dove into the chilly water and dove her head into the water. Fish rustled around her furry face and seemed to narrowly miss her fang-filled mouth. Eventually, a tiny salmon swam into her mouth. Lelo jumped up and snapped her mouth closed. The fish around her raced away and a mass of ripples exploded from the area. Lelo smiled a doggy grin and gulped down the fish. The taste was divine and the cool scales slid smoothly against her tongue. She lept onto a rock ledge and quickly snapped up two large fish. They dragged her little body down and she crashed into the stream. She sat up goofily but her mouth was still clamped shut. She walked out of the water and shook her body off. She ate up the fish and returned to her kennel. She had never thought that food could be so fun!
