Why it has the Dream catcher;
When she was young, she had constant nightmares. She never remembered them in the morning, but she always woke up feeling terrified and vulnerable. She had so much trouble, she was afraid of falling asleep.Her parents, in a desperate effort to end her pain, gave her a dream catcher to hopefully help her as a last resort. And when it started working, they were shocked. When her parents died two years later ina an accident, she kept the dreamcatcher with her constantly, it now serving as a memory of her parents.

Many moons ago, there was a small
plumerian that was born. Vesper Eo.
This child was not like other pups, she
had a power unlike any other. She
was granted the unique ability to
transcend into the dreamscape. She was
a dream walker, something that her
family passed down to each female
that was born. But she was also unlike
her family members,for she could even
enter dreams that were not her own.
Dream walking allows Vesper to connect
to people on a completely new and
different level. Occasionally, she has been
able to change people's dream... such as
when the dreamer is having a nightmare,
she will work to change it into a blissful
dream. Though... there are remnants to
her being there. But this was dangerous
for Vesper. The dream world can be so
simply beautiful and fantastic that the
real world can easily slip away. So her
family created a single item that helped
keep herself grounded to the real world,
an anchor so to speak. That is where the
dream catcher comes into play. Her family
each took a single part of it, and weaved
it with all their memories and thoughts of
Vesper. This allows Vesper to stay true
to the real world, and she never fears
losing herself to the darkness that could

......When you think about ......it you're entire ability to function in your
......daily life hinges on one thing. Your ability to sleep, and further
......more dream, allows you to recooperiate throughout the night
......and let's your mind relax its self. When one looses this ability,
......the ability to dream, their life is thrown out of whack and
......those that are desperate will do anything to fix their lives.

......Luke is one of those cases. After a terrible accident rendered him
......unable to fall into the REM cycle of sleep that allows one to dream
......he has developed a method to cope. This is where his dream
......catcher comes into play.

......With its function being exactly as its name suggests Luke's dream
......catcher collects the dreams of those around him and converts
......them into a tangible colored glitter which he then bottles and
......stores all over his house. Each dream is labeled with a single paper
......star folded up with the dreams contents written on the inside and
......placed within the jar.

......When in fits of distress from an anxiety filled day Luke will choose
......a jar and open it, dipping his slender fingers into the dust and
......letting the particles dance over his eyes, clouding his vision with
......the dream that was held prisoner in the jar.

......Due to his constant home use of the dreams Luke permanently has
......the particles of various dreams clinging to his finger tips so if at
......any point while away from home he touches his eyes he looses
......the ability to decipher between reality and dream as the visions
......of the dream dance in and out of his conscious mind and overlap
......with what he is experiencing in real time.

Evanora carries her dreamcatcher to help herself remember to stop and enjoy the little things in life, and to stop letting everyday worries drag her down. Due to having such an ambitious personality, Evanora tends to aim big, but by doing so she inadvertently brings a lot of stress into her life. With her vast and lofty dreams come worries of failure and many days of hard work and sleepless nights, where the only thing keeping her going is a coffee and the goal she has implanted within her mind. Life has changed so much as she got older and anymore she almost doesn't recognize the Plumerian staring back at her in the mirror. That is why she always carries around a dream catcher that was given to her as a young child. One look at the beautiful trinket and all her worries and stress just seem to float away, it takes her back to the days when she was just a small child and life was simply about having fun and getting to know yourself.

Over the years, Evanora has developed a little quirk with her dream catcher, and runs through the steps in perfect order whenever she feels herself getting stressed. First she'll sit down and count backwards from 5 in her mind, while taking deep breaths to help her calm down. Next, she'll swing the dream catcher from side to side three times and send a pleasant wish for somebody else, this helps her to remember that trusting others is okay. Using this method helps her to focus on calming down and aids in drawing the attention of her mind elsewhere, even if it's only temporary.

In the end though, the biggest reason she carries the dream catcher is so that she won't lose herself. She has seen how easy it is to get lost while seeking out your dream and just how many Plumies give up in the end. The dream catcher is her vow to never forget who she is and to keep on walking forward no matter what life throws her way.

Why it has the Dream catcher; The reason why Selena keeps a Dream catcher in her hair is because the Dream catcher has been a family tradition. The specific Dream catcher in her hair has been crafted with lots of care by her great great great great (etc.) grandmother. The reason her very great grandmother had made the Dream catcher was because she had been constantly getting nightmares, and wanted to get rid of them. After, her grandmother had made it she had realized that it didn't just scare away nightmares but, it did much more. This particular Dream catcher is strongly believed to bring good fortune, as well as good dreams to whoever owns it, and their family. It was also is believed to keep bad spirits, and nightmares away. Ever since the Dream catcher was made it was then made an important family tradition for the mother to pass the catcher onto her eldest daughter, and once she grows up, and receives pups she will pass it on to her oldest daughter, and so on. This Dream catcher is very important in the family tradition, so who ever owns it must never lose it, which is another reason why Selena keeps it in her hair; so she never loses it. If the Dream catcher is lost then the rest of the extended family will forever have terrible nightmares, despite being a father, or son, that could never be scared away by a Dream catcher.
