-Valentines Day Event Adopt!-

Happy Valentines Day! Here at DCH we'll be celebrating with a few themed adopts and competitions.

This girl is a special 'valentine' pintaloosa - can you spot all of the hidden hearts? She also has an extra detail - a new mane and tail set! There are three in total now, and they can be inherited. Keep an eye out for the other event adopts to see the other new set!
She also has frame overo in her genes because of the edges of her spots. This horse will throw some interesting babies, that's for sure!

Tell me about her favourite flower:
Annie's favorite flower is the water lily. As there are so many colors, she has a hard time choosing, but tends to favor those which are pure white with yellow in the middle. On the other hand, she does love those with just a hint of pink or yellow at the tips of the petals. The reason she loves water lilies is simple: she loves the water. She finds the lilies so beautiful and delicate, just floating on top of the water as they do. They almost remind her of small sunrises when they begin to flower. A small bud of color popping out of the water and then blooming into a beautiful flower. Annie doesn't dare pick the flowers, however; these beauties are to be admired from afar.

Personality:
Just like her namesake Aphrodite, Annie is passionate and loving. She is attracted to anything beautiful and is endlessly fascinated by her own reflection. Though she may not be the most intelligent, she is certainly smarter than others give her credit for. Annie can often be found day dreaming and staring wistfully into the distance, contemplating either the shapes of the clouds or the meaning of life, among other things. Annie would be considered an extrovert, though she sometimes prefers to keep to herself. She cannot be alone too long, however, as she craves the company of others. Her positive and sometimes airy attitude is found to be quite fun to be around. She is friendly, but is careful not to open up too much or dedicate herself to someone she can tell won't reciprocate her feelings. Once she finds someone who does, she will love them endlessly and devote herself to them. Though she would not admit it, Annie's attention span seems to be lacking, as she grows bored very quickly when something doesn't catch her interest. Overall, Annie is a sweet girl, if a bit vain, and appreciates the finer things in life, whether that be a satin hair bow or a colorful sunrise on a spring morning.
