Rukami (Gulo Stantes) are a newly discovered species of bipedal mammals. Though they resemble wolves, they are actually more closely related to the mustelid family, which includes wolverines, otters, and badgers to name a few. Through natural selection, these rare animals evolved to incredible sizes and developed sentient brains along with opposable thumbs.

Been a while since I made some bark armor, so this Kami crafted their own ;> along with some smoothed bone piercings.

Personality: Ana is the sweetest kami you'd ever meet. She is kind and generous, along with incredibly beautiful and insanely graceful. She seems like a friendly spirit to other kamis, floating around and giving gifts. She's an amazing dancer, but never dances in front of anyone, for the fear of being judged. She feels at home in her forest cove, and loves to play around the birds and trees.

Backstory: There's a solid reason for why Ana's name was chosen. From the moment she was born, she'd always been graceful, kind, generous, and mannerful. She'd always mind her own business and never attempt to anger anyone, unlike a few others of her kind. Her parents always thought she was just quiet, but eventually they realized something- she was mute. They tried to hide Ana's unfortunate choice, but eventually everyone found out. Ana was horribly bullied and tortured, but still, she never spoke a word or made a single sound. Her parents tried to protect her, but eventually all three of them agreed to pretend that Ana had run away. That night, with a small pack in one hand and the chilly wind in another, Ana set out to forget her scars and begin a new life.

The Story Of Her Bark Armor And Piercings:
After running away, Ana spent weeks trying to find a place where noone would find her. Eventually, she came across the perfect place- a huge forest bustling with birds and butterflies. It was the best home she'd ever had, and Ana loved it. Anyway, when Ana started living there, she made her home in a massive tree. Birds there weren't scared of her, and happily chipped around her all day. She was so happy, completely at peace. The horrible pain she had felt when she was bullied was much less than what she felt when she came home to see that her tree was no longer standing, but lay parallel to the ground, never to stand tall again. The tree had died of old age, but that didn't comfort Ana. Eventually, she realized she had to move on, and in honor of her tree, made bark armor from it to put on her forearms. She didn't use this for armor; instead she stood still with her arms stretched out, pretending to be a tree and letting the birds land on her just like they would the tree. Suddenly, a miracle happened. A little green sprout popped up out of the ground, right where the old tree had stood. Ana took this as a sign, and began to help the little tree grow. And grow it did, at an alarmingly fast rate. Ana began to wear smoothened bone piercings to count the years, and now she resides in the new tree as happily as before.

Some fun facts:
~Ana is not mute by choice or even completely mute. Her voice box was messed up from birth, but she can make one sound- a bird chirp.

~She thinks she can relate to a tree. Graceful, beautiful, kind, and tore down because they are unable to protest.

~ She is very musical. Often she'll just find a few sticks and tap them against a rock, creating a beat that she and the birds will chirp to.

I got kinda carried away... Oh well. I really want her though! :3

Hotsuma is very short tempered, impulsive,
distrustful to others and keeps his distance to
other unknown Rukami until he gets to know them
better and build up trust.
In some situations he also can be very agressive
but those moments are rare.
Hotsuma is the bearer of God's voice.
His father called God was the leader of a great pack
and his first born son should replace him as the alpha.
In this pack, the leader's voice is loud, strong,
selfconfident and powerful.
God's voice was passed on to Hotsuma and so he gets
called 'God's voice' from the other members.
Hotsuma declined being the alpha after his father
because he doesn't want to have such responsibility
and wasn't used to so much attention.
As a little kit he was always in the forrest playing
hide and seek or tag with others or the animals.
Since this day where he declined his duty as the next
leader his father abandoned him and only because of
his mother they still have little contact with him.

But since the day she died due to a bad disease
he hasn't had any contact anymore.
Hotsuma's personality is shadowed by his past.
While protecting another young Kami, he ended up
attacking a few of the younger Rukami,
which then isolated him from everyone else.
Afterwards, he attempted to leave the pack without
anybody's knowledge and fell in a deep depression
because of his isolation.
The young Kami he rescued tried to stop him with all
he's got and suffered some deep injuries from Hotsuma.
He finally managed to stop and persuade him to stay.
But since then Hotsuma blames himself for the young
Kami's scars and is scared of hurting someone again.
He does not open up to others easily,
with exception to the young Kami whom he trusts a lot.
Hotsuma trusts him with his life and is very protective
towards him.
The only one who seems to understand Hotsuma's
short-tempered personality seems to be him.

........................Hotsuma made those selfmade protectives because of some scars he wants to cover with them.
...................And also needs them for fighting, when he protects his dearest friend of enemies or danger

The Inventor
Ever since he was a boy he was facinated in improving things, he was always cought fiddleling with tree branches and string. He loved the trees and natual ways of making things. And often used bark in his inventions. (Hence the armour) he focuses on weapons and combat. However he is not much of a fighter himself. He would often develop Armor for other Rukimis or new imagige weapons. He does not talk much though. He mind is constantly on his work and doesn't we pay attension on much else.
Best inventions:
-A spear that has the ability to catch the sunlight making it burst out in flames
-A sharp Flint sword and a stone so if you slash it against the sword many Sparks shall come out
-Bone armour that defends the most important body parts.
-A pack made of leather, very easy to squish down to pocket size. It can hold swords and shields very well.
-A highly strong shield made of elk bone and stone. It has a nice strap the can comfortable go around the shoulder.
Worst/Failed Inventions
every success starts with a failure
-armour that contained red dyed water, hoping to convince the enemy they are in pain but it was too unconvincing
-Armour that catches the sunlight, like the spear but it just burns you a lot
-a small wooden machine like thing useing cogs, a dagger attached to it. It was meant to stab the enemy in the foot but took much to long to get everything ready and you would be dead by the time it's ready.
