Okay, so, here we go, full training for the boy

Dear Diary,
I'm writing this while I ponder about what exactly happened today. It all went so fast.
After what felt like ages of careful handling, I finally thought of myself as prepared enough to not only lean myself onto the saddle, but actually mount. You can't imagine how worried I was. After I had fed all of the Neravontii, I picked up Tak
and his mate, as they really didn't want to leave each other. As I hadn't even touched Selena before, I needed to drive her out onto the fenced field.
Tak followed willingly, eager to join his mate. I grabbed him by the halter before he reached her, though, and moved him towards the fence, petting his neck. "No buddy, first the important part!". Securing him to the fence, I brought over the tack, letting him sniff at it again. Then I put everything on him, followed by a huge squirrel for him. "Good boy!". I leaned myself forward, hands on the saddle. Tak remained peaceful. I leaned down with more weight. No reaction. My feet left the ground. Same. I completely mounted. Slight irritation, but that went fast. Wow. I let him run around a bit freely then, not moving at all. Then I took up the reigns, gently nudging him to the left. Tak went to the left, hesitating a bit. And the other way around. Slower, faster. "Good boy, good boy!" After I felt he had done enough, I pulled him to a stop, dismounted, undid the tack and let him run free. He pushed his nose against my chest, then scurried off to Selena, who had watched the whole thing from a safe distance. I watched them run around for a while, then drove them into the stables again. After they got another huge amount of food, I took care of all the tack, went to do my homework and went to bed. It had been a great day!
Will pm you about the free tack soon?
